Tom was born in Pittsburgh PA and has lived in that area (with a few
brief exceptions) ever since. He has worked in theater and haunted
houses since the early 1980s, most recently with Hundred Acres Manor
(formerly Phantoms in the Park) in Bethel Park, PA. He served as the
venue electrician (as well as a few other things) for Hundred Acres
Manor when Splatter Movie: The Directors Cut filmed there and drafted him into the production, and since then has worked on several films and TV series in the Pittsburgh area.
Tom received an MFA in Production Technology and Management, Technical Direction Option at Carnegie Mellon in 2019. It was supposed to be 2012, but a thesis can take a while.
