Robert Kirkman’s upcoming new horror series Outcast is one of my most anticipated series that’s coming later this year. This series looks freakin’ awesome! The series stars Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous), who is a wildly underrated actor. I’m extremely happy to see him land the lead role in a series like this and I hope it’s successful.
The series is based on the comic book (created by Kirkman), and the story centers on a guy named Kyle Barnes who battles the devil as a series of demonic possessions plague a small community. I love the nightmarish and dark tone of the series and this latest trailer gives you a taste of the horrific imagery the show has to offer. Here’s the synopsis:

Robert Kirkman may just have the magic touch. Given the ever-growing success of The Walking Dead, it’s not surprising that the TV adaptation to Kirkman’s next comic should be made before the first issue is even published. Kirkman’s new Cinemax show, Outcast had its very own panel today which revealed the first trailer for the 10-episode series. After making waves with his tale of a zombie apocalypse, the writer is trying his hand at a different horror genre – Outcast focuses on Kyle Barnes a young man who has dealt with demonic possession his entire life. Barnes teams up with Reverend Anderson, a man with his own sort of demons, to find answers about the curse that plagues him, but what he discovers...
