"She only knows what the demon allows her to see!" Kaleidoscope Entertainment + Lionsgate have released an official trailer for an indie horror film titled The Dawn, which is headed straight-to-dvd this month for anyone who likes watching this kind of supernatural horror. Following the murder of her family at the hands of her father in the wake of World War I, a young woman is sent to live in a convent up in the North East. However, the demons that plagued her father follow her, reawakening the nightmares of her past. Starring Devanny Pinn as Rose, with a cast including Stacey Dash, Ryan Kiser, David Goryl, Heather Wynters, Teilor Grubbs, Jonathan Bennett, Julie Rose, and Andrew E. Wheeler. It mostly seems like yet another cliche religious horror story, but damn this trailer has some extra creepy imagery - that long black hand, all the screaming, freaky nuns galore, and a bit more.

Kendall Jenner didn't get to hang ten, but she did get to share screen time with Scott Caan. Not bad for her acting debut! Here's the first look at the 16-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star on Hawaii Five-0, on which she plays a shop clerk who gets to trade words with Caan's Det. Danny "Danno" Williams, who appears to be working a case while also pulling daddy duty with daughter Grace (Teilor Grubbs). Set your DVRs: Kendall's episode, "I Ka Wa Mamua," airs Nov. 5.

Life in Hawaii Five-0 world doesn't get much better than when you get someone like James Caan to guest star. And not only was it hilarious, but his character didn't eat up the scenes or get in the way. He worked *with* the story line, had a valued part in the investigation, and when everything is right in the universe, *this* is how you use a guest star with some oomph behind him. I very much hope Caan Sr. shows up again. The facts are these: Bobby Raines (Dennis Miller) is a loud-mouthed, pull no punches radio host who broadcasts to his acolytes from his boat offshore. Bobby Raines then goes Boom. Literally. He gets the Rick Springfield treatment, but hey, at least they spent time plugging James Caan and not so much on Dennis Miller that I don't feel too bad when he dies before the opening credits roll.

It has been an embarrassingly long time since I have enjoyed and episode of Hawaii Five-0 (TV) as much as I loved this one. It was like coming home to a nice glass of wine and a good friend who'd been gone a long while. The case was interesting and yet, didn't detract from the shining bromance and team ohana feel that has been lacking for most of this season. There was a lot of hype this week about the stunt casting of Apolo Ohno and Phillie's player Shane Victorino, but it didn't detract from the great feel of the show. And honestly, Victorino was blink-and-you-miss-him, but his fans got to see him on a prime time show. The facts are these: a woman on a team building retreat detours from her group and runs into a scantily clad Na Koa warrior who's been cut to shreds by something with wicked teeth.

Double, double toil and trouble… and trouble is exactly what Danny (Scott Caan) will get for taking out his bad evening on the living and the dead. I have a great affinity for holiday episodes because they usually allow the show to step out of the crime-of-the-week box and let the characters shine. Halloween on Hawaii Five-0 (TV) is no different and this episode was a creepily fun romp. Even if I did want to smack Danny a couple of times throughout, he was just being very "Danny-like" after all. This episode was directed by fear master Joe Dante and even in the opening sequence, you can see the marked difference. Instead of the Technicolor vividness of the lush O'ahu surroundings, we get a dark, grey scale shot of a full moon over the mountains. All that's missing is a hound baying on the moors. We also get a couple...

Love an episode chock-full of character development, inter-character relationship goodies and angst? Well, you've come to the right episode. Oh and don't worry, there are plenty of explosions, car chases and Steve rocking that thigh holster in all his badass glory. Let's jump off with a bang, shall we? We open to Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) heading up a military-like take down of a posh house, completely with Swat backup (oh hey, he finally learned what back-up was for!) Wo Fat is supposedly in the house, so Steve, along with Kono (Grace Park), Chin (Daniel Dae Kim), Danny (Scott Caan) and Agent Jenna Kaye (Larisa Oleynik) are there. Before the crap hits the fan, Steve cuffs Kaye to a squad car – because she is not a superhero and therefore has no business playing in their sandbox of stuff that goes kaboom – and then the Swat go in. The door blows up,...

I adore the character driven plots. They allow the actors to stretch their acting legs and allow us, the viewer, to really get to know the characters better. Last night, we got to know Danny (Scott Caan) a little better, meeting his little brother, Matt (Dane Cook), and discovering that the Williams family is a tight knit, loving group, who will do anything for each other. Even if it's illegal. Plus, kudos to Scott Caan and his acting, because That was just plain fabulous. Judge Kamalei (Clyde Kusatsu) and his daughter Katie are zip-lining in the jungle for a father-daughter outing. The judge gets a call on hic cell by someone who can do the creepy Clint Eastwood raspy voice better than Eastwood, threatening his daughter. Just then, he watches Katie plummet to the jungle floor after the zip line cable breaks. Meanwhile, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Danny and...
