Miguel Müller is a Brazilian filmmaker with a passion for storytelling. He developed a strong taste for different approaches to filmmaking while growing up, watching a variety of European, American, and Brazilian movies. His love for the craft of writing led him to study Journalism/Communication Studies, and he soon started creating experimental and fictional short films, receiving his first nomination at "Gramado Cine Video" in 2004. After working in advertising and creating a sitcom for a major network, he moved to Los Angeles to expand his career as a filmmaker, studying writing, cinematography, producing, and directing at UCLA. He gained recognition for his short film "Yolanda," which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, he released his debut feature film, "The Before Time," followed by producing "The French Teacher," which premiered at the Edera Film Festival in Treviso, Italy, where it won the "Artistic Direction Award." The film has also been selected for numerous festivals across the globe, including the Flying Broom Film Festival in Turkey, where it was part of the FIPRESCI Prize selection. Currently, his second feature film, "Nobody Wants To Be Just Ordinary," is in post-production.
