Ubisoft’s upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, has stirred up quite a bit of controversy, and it’s not just about the main character. While the community debates over Yasuke as the protagonist, popular Twitch streamer Asmongold has a different issue with the game: its pricing.
Many fans are outraged over the game’s pricing. The Gold Edition of the game is priced at $110 Usd, and the Ultimate Edition is even higher at $130 Usd.
Asmongold’s Critique of Ubisoft’s Pricing Strategy This game is just full of controversy.
Shadows offers a $70 standard edition, a $110 Gold edition that includes the Season Pass as well as three days of early access to the game, and finally, a $130 Ultimate edition that comes with an ‘ultimate pack‘ on top of all the content offered in the Gold edition. The $110 Gold Edition particularly bothered Asmongold because that version doesn’t even include all of the content,...

GTA 6 is set to be released in fall 2025, and the competition looks fierce. Game development can be taxing, and most release dates are far from realistic, but fans are optimistic that Rockstar will be able to keep its promise this time.
It seems like 2025 may be an amazing year for gaming if the majority of the announced games can reach the deadlines and hit the shelves. The gaming community will have to pick and choose which triple-a game to get and finish first, which can be an interesting dilemma.
GTA 6 Is Confirmed to Be Released Around Fall 2025
Gamers might want to clear their schedules to prepare for GTA 6.
It’s no secret that developers often miss release dates, but the gaming community needs to learn the virtue of patience. Almost every game is prone to delays, and there’s no going around it, but it seems like Rockstar is confident...

Xbox right now might be in turmoil, but PlayStation is doing business on a roll. The Microsoft console company is going through a rough phase after closing four of its internal studios, as well as a huge penalty for infringing patents. However, its arch-rival is completely on a different page.
As things stand, Sony is reportedly going to collaborate with Lego. Many viable insiders and leakers have claimed it; it might be an IP owned by Sony.
PlayStation to Possibly Collaborate with Lego
PlayStation’s next rumored collaboration sounds interesting.
Recently, credible leaker Kurakasis stated that Sony is going to do something with Lego. And it’s going to be a popular IP for the console company. Although he is not sure if it’s going to be a game or a game-themed bundle.

Many games have tried to knock Call of Duty from the top spot when it comes to multiplayer. While fans have no shortage of complaints, it’s the first franchise that comes to mind when someone says “online shooter.”
Given that the series featured multiplayer in 2003, it’s no small feat that there hasn’t been a multiplayer franchise big enough to dethrone it. The streak continues as Ubisoft’s XDefiant fails to live up to the hype, with many fans saying the game is just not working out.

Neil Breen, the independent American filmmaker and actor, is popular for his peculiar filmmaking. He has written, directed, produced, and starred in six theatrical feature films to date and has garnered a following that likes his low budget but interesting films. Breen usually uses stock footage in his films, and it’s been going on ever since he started producing the films.
The latest movie from Neil Breen, Cade: The Tortured Crossing, was released last year, and it sincerely looks like the 1980s full-motion video (Fmv) game because of how much it relies on Shutterstock images for the backdrops. While the reveal garnered a lot of interest from fans, one grim detail about the game’s development has disappointed fans everywhere. A former developer revealed that NetEase never paid a majority of the employees for their work on the title during the early development phase. Ubisoft is one of the most well-known names in the video game industry, and the toxic work culture and crunch hours are nothing new in the industry, as there have been several instances where employees have reported this. Ubisoft is currently working on its free-to-play shooter xDefiant, and the game has been delayed multiple times due to different issues.
The main reason behind this seems to be a group of executives and directors working on the title, as reported by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson. He also stated that the company has a toxic work culture, among other things, that has driven employees to part ways, and the statements have now been corroborated by a former Ubisoft developer who left the job due to these issues.

Ubisoft has earned a reputation for being one of the most controversial Aaa studios, whether it’s about the horrible quality of its games or the issues that the developer keeps facing. Ever since XDefiant was announced three years ago, it has been a part of various discussions, with a highlight being that the game may turn out to be a Call of Duty killer.
But that’s only remotely possible when it sees the light of day, but according to Tom Henderson’s report, things have been seriously problematic at the studio, resulting in constant delays.

Ever since GTA 6’s first trailer took the world by storm, fans have been eagerly waiting to hear more about the game’s details, especially how the development/production of the game has been. In the last few years, endless leaks have suggested that the game’s development cycle has gone through multiple experiments, changes, and so on.
However, based on some new information, it seems that the final stages of development for the game are falling short of expectations for Rockstar Games. Based on these reports, the studio behind the much-awaited Grand Theft Auto sequel is doing its best to bring out the game in time, but the release window might just get pushed to 2026.
Is there a chance GTA 6 might arrive in 2026? The wait doesn’t seem to come to an end, does it?

The Far Cry franchise is a core pillar of Ubisoft’s library, but it’s fallen flat in recent years. 2021’s Far Cry 6 was commercially successful, but critically mixed. The series faces mounting (and valid) criticism from fans and critics alike, pointing out the monotony of Ubisoft’s open-world formula, which is more or less unchanged since Far Cry 3.
A change of course for Far Cry is undeniably necessary, and potential solutions may be brewing in the form of two rumored projects currently in active development at Ubisoft Montreal. These projects could offer the refresh the franchise desperately needs.

A series of recent rumors suggested that PlayStation is working on a new handheld gaming device. Now, Insider Gaming and industry insider Tom Henderson are reporting that the first major details about that new handheld hardware have apparently been leaked. However, anyone expecting Sony’s next handheld to essentially serve as the long-awaited “PlayStation Vita 2” will want to start thinking much smaller than that.
The report claims that the new handheld (which is currently codenamed Q Lite) will actually be more of a companion piece to the PlayStation 5 rather than an independent handheld device. While industry reporter Jeff Grub previously hinted the handheld could end up utilizing cloud gaming features, this new report suggests that the Q Lite will actually largely function as a Remote Play accessory. That is to say that it will essentially allow you to stream games from your PS5 to a dedicated handheld platform rather than your mobile device,...

Activision has announced Call of Duty: Vanguard, the next installment in the popular shooter series. The new game, which is developed by Sledgehammer Games, in conjunction with Raven Studios and Treyarch, will take the franchise back to the battles of World War II for the first time since 2017, introducing a new story campaign, multiplayer component, Zombies mode, and even a brand-new map for Warzone.
The announcement comes at a time of reckoning for Activision Blizzard, which is facing several lawsuits as well as disturbing allegations of sexist and toxic work environment. In the weeks since California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing filed a lawsuit against the company over its workplace culture, many current and former employees have shared their own stories of being harassed or mistreated at the publisher. A fascinating series of GTA 6 rumors suggest that the long-awaited sequel is going to feature a blend of old and new concepts in terms of its location, protagonists, and size.

In fact, there’s a chance that this information is true at the moment but could be changed by the time that GTA 6 is finished and released (more on that in a bit).

If you’re getting a strong feeling of déjà vu upon reading that headline, it’s not just you.
With the new year comes renewed hope that Rockstar won’t go yet another 12 months without even squeaking the name Grand Theft Auto 6, with many no doubt hoping that 2021 could even be when the long-awaited sequel is intended to arrive. That latter proposal is almost certainly off the table for numerous reasons, but an initial reveal is certainly possible, if not more likely than ever, considering how long in the tooth its predecessor is. Indeed, Michael, Trevor and Franklin’s crime-fuelled bender in Los Santos is now going on 8 years old and even Red Dead Redemption 2 – the developer’s latest release – is over the two-year mark.
Truth be told, rumors aside, almost nothing is known about the next installment in one of gaming’s most profitable franchises, though one ‘leak’ that...

Sooner or later, Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to happen.
What nobody – perhaps even including Rockstar itself – knows, however, is when the long-awaited sequel will finally arrive. For literal years now, rumors, unverified leaks and just good, old fashioned speculation from the fandom have attempted to discern when the next chapter in one of gaming’s most popular series’ will come along and so far, none have been even remotely accurate. Perhaps the only concrete information available right now is a report from reputable games journalist and former Kotaku writer Jason Schreier published earlier this year that claims GTA 6 is currently in the early stages of development.
That’s a vague statement in and of itself, of course, so even assuming the claim to be true, there’s simply no telling just how far along the project is. According to comments provided by Viral Junkie’s Tom Henderson, in fact,...
