Filming a love scene with Ryan Reynolds isn't all fun and games.
On Wednesday's episode of Conan, Morena Baccarin revealed that she and the Golden Globe nominee had "two days of sex scenes" while filming Deadpool. Host Conan O'Brien noted that the actors' "passionate" moment in the comic book movie goes "on and on and on."
Twentieth Century Fox
"[The scene(s)] took two days, because it was us making sweet love for an entire calendar year," the 37-year-old actress explained. "So, it was all the holidays, so we dressed differently for everyone. Believe me, there's a lot left on the cutting room floor, because there's a lot of holidays."

Billy Joel was on "The Tonight Show" and, of course, The Piano Man sat at the piano to sing us a song. Jimmy Fallon jumped right in and they sang the Rolling Stones's "Beast of Burden" together. Fallon's Mick Jagger impression is still on point. Of course, Jimmy wouldn't be Jimmy if he didn't ham it up, and he went Full Jagger and got the audience to join in.
However, topping that is this impromptu performance of "The Longest Time" from Billy, Jimmy, Billy's band, and actor J.K. Simmons -- this was just during a commercial break as they shot some local promos:

With my first Siff now in the books, I can say that I’ve learned some valuable lessons. The first being what a remarkable festival and diverse program the organizers came up with for the 41st edition. From the venues to the volunteers, everything was top notch. Like most festivals, it was a bit front-loaded with premieres, but there were also notable premieres later in the program, including Max Landis’ Me Him Her on the closing weekend. From top to bottom, this was a great line-up with very few thin spots.
The other major lesson I learned is that it’s impossible to adequately cover a film festival in the city in which you live. Family, friends, and full-time jobs don’t simply disappear just because you want to have some fun. I come away feeling disappointed that time constraints kept me from seeing a lot of great films, as...

Since I started compiling Outrage Watch -- HitFix's "(almost) daily rundown of all the thing folks are peeved about in entertainment" -- I've never been faced with a shortage of things to write about. There's a lot of anger out there! At times so much that it can feel overwhelming. Other times, I just have to laugh at the sheer inanity of the things people manage to work themselves up over. Of the stories I highlight, I would say a good 75 percent represent examples of righteous outrage -- i.e. scorn directed at legitimate targets. And the other 25? The phrase "pick your battles" comes to mind here, and indeed, sometimes it seems the level of anger is blown out of all proportion to the target in question. As we look back on the winter of 2015, below you can find my roundup of 13 of the wackiest, most overblown controversies of the year so far.

Christina Aguilera was on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Monday night, and Jimmy had "The Voice" coach play "Wheel of Musical Impressions." Xtina had to mix artists like Cher (with whom she worked in "Burlesque") with songs like the Folgers Coffee jingle. She was good! Christina really went for it when she got Britney Spears (her fellow Mouseketeer then pop star rival) paired with "This Little Piggy." Pretty obvious that was not just a random selection, but dagnabbit - Christina nailed it. For once, Jimmy was completely outshined at one of his own games. He gave her a standing ovation! Christina also sang Shakira well. The woman can sing.

The final guild/industry group to declare nominees did so this afternoon as the Motion Picture Sound Editors (Mpse) spoke up with a roll call of players for the 62nd Golden Reel Awards. On the film side of things, "Birdman" and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" had the best showing with three nominations each. I've been wondering if the latter could slide into Oscar play this year, but it's hard to gauge here, as "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" had a nice Mpse showing, too. In the effects/foley category, "Fury" is featured as well, also a strong possibility to pop up. All other expected players ("American Sniper," "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Unbroken," etc.) are featured. We'll see how the sound branch shakes it all out tomorrow but I'm a little more confused by where they'll end up going than usual, I must say. Check out...

Chris Hemsworth, the reigning Sexiest Man Alive, earned his title Tuesday night on "The Tonight Show." He played "Water War" with Jimmy Fallon, and since the loser had to be water cannoned by the winner, you had to know Thor would lose so we could see him drenched. He even did a little dance as Jimmy hosed him down. Let's just say the audience approved. It's kind of a fun game, too - a twist on the card game War - and they had a laugh about it. Could make a good drinking game, beyond water. Chris also showed off his new shorter haircut in his sit-down interview with Jimmy.

Jimmy looked uncomfortable through the whole thing, even before Jeff randomly put a tarantula on his shoulder. 2014's fall TV line-up delivered some seriously stunning performances, not to mention a few truly incredible new shows -- but the only problem? There was such an abundance of critically acclaimed television that our DVRs could barely keep up. If you missed out on more quality viewing than is healthy, don't sweat it. Moviefone's rounded up a list of hits that you may have missed in 2014 (too busy binging "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix, probably), which means you officially have a plan for winter break!

So the big Emmys don't air until next Sunday night and at Moviefone we will have, of course, full coverage. But last night the Creative Arts Emmys were handed out, for the people that are largely responsible for making these shows that you absolutely love -- you know, the behind-the-scenes talent tasked with conceptualizing and realizing your favorite programs. Oh -- and some guest actor and actresses awards were handed out, so there's that too!
In the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category Uzo Aduba took home the prize for "Orange is the New Black." The first round of 2014 Emmy Awards were handed out at the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony on Saturday (August 16) night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony, which precedes the Monday, August 25 Primetime Emmy Awards telecast, offered signs of hope for a number of drama and comedy hopefuls. Netflix's "Orange Is The New Black," for example, won Emmys for editing, series casting and for Uzo Aduba, who is considered a guest actress for the purposes of these awards. No other comedy series was able to build any other momentum going into next week's show, with "The Big Bang Bang Theory," "Nurse Jackie," "How I Met Your Mother" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" grabbing isolated tech prizes and Jimmy Fallon winning the Guest Actor in a Comedy Series award for the second time in three years for his "Saturday Night Live" hosting duties. The two guest acting awards on the drama side...

HBO is being stingy with its "True Blood" clips this season... none last week and only one for the upcoming Episode 7.05, "Lost Cause." But we'll take what we can get as we prepare for the show's final Sdcc panel on July 26th.
Episode 7.05 - “Lost Cause” (air date 7/20/14)
Exhausted from her recent travails, Sookie (Anna Paquin) finds herself the unwilling host of a festive mainstreaming party in Bon Temps. In search of an elusive adversary, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer von Straten) head to Dallas and attend a gala fundraiser.
Meanwhile, Andy (Chris Bauer) makes a life-changing decision; Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and James (Nathan Parsons) reach a crossroads; Bill (Stephen Moyer) loses himself in remembrance of human days. Written by Craig Chester; directed by Howie Deutch.

Toronto, On. Let's get this out of the way, because you're already thinking it. It's mid-March in a chilly interview room on the Toronto set of FX's "The Strain" and star Corey Stoll is chatting with one of three small roundtables of reporters. We've been talking for at least 15 minutes without addressing the elephant in the room, so I broach the all-important topic: Hair, or augmentation thereof. Stoll's visibility has increased dramatically in recent years and it's not like audiences are unfamiliar with seeing him with tonsorial assistance. His Ernest Hemingway in "Midnight in Paris" featured both a well-adorned head and a mustache that he carried over into NBC's "Law & Order: Los Angeles." That role and his Golden Globe nominated turn in "House of Cards" were recognizably clear-pated, which has already had people scratching their heads about the floppy hair Stoll is sporting in "The Strain." What, I ask Stoll,...

Joe Manganiello, Sofia Vergara Dating?
Vergara, 41, first grabbed Manganiello’s eye back in May. In fact, the Magic Mike actor was caught ogling the Golden Globe-nominated actress' backside when the two were both guests at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

It's easy to forget that there was a time when "True Blood" was HBO's premiere drama and most-watched show. It was nominated for Best Drama at the 2010 Emmys! Anna Paquin won a Golden Globe one time! Then came the witches, and the werewolves, and the were-panthers, and the djinns, and the deadbeat shapeshifters, and the multiple vampire blood addicts, and the ever-expanding cast, and things were pretty rocky for a while there. Not to mention stiff competition on the prestige genre-show front ("Game of Thrones") and the batshit insane narrative front ("American Horror Story"). But you know, Season 6 was pretty good! With its internment camp plotline and vampire power-level rankings, it wound up being a decent season of "X-Men: The Live Action Series That Doesn't Exist." A shortened episode order probably didn't hurt in terms of tightening up the narrative. Plus the season finale, while laughable in many ways, set up decently.
