In many ways Terminus is just the kind of low-key, apocalyptic, sci-fi thriller which we appreciate so much around here. With a stripped-down, minimal aesthetic, focus on developing characters and relationships, and an ever present sense of tension, doom and dread, there's a lot for Pa enthusiasts to enjoy here. The film is not without problems (which we'll get into shortly), but it essentially stands as an enjoyably creative and well executed thriller, with plenty of original ideas and several eye-catching performances.

Directed and co-written by Marc Furmie, Terminus tells what happens when an alien pod or meteorite fragment falls to Earth. The story focuses on garage owner and mechanic David Chamberlain (Jai Koutrae) and his daughter Annabelle (Kendra Appleton) as they struggle with more bills, less money, and life in a warring society. Army vet and amputee Zach (Todd Lasance) enters their lives, looking for a job with David while rebuilding his life after the war. Tagline: "All things must end." The sci-fi thriller Terminus has a new, longer trailer. The film's first teaser trailer was released in late 2014. Since then, the film has secured theatrical distribution in Australia and North America. Both territories will see the film, on the big screen, in January of next year. The film, from director Marc Furmie, involves a meteorite and one man's interaction with a new life form. The film stars Jai Koutrae, Kendra Appleton and Todd Lasance. The film's latest trailer is hosted here. The story for Terminus is partially being kept behind a black curtain. Though, the latest clip reveals much more than the synopsis. The trailer shows two friends in a pickup truck. In the distance, a meteorite crashes into a forest. Governmental agencies are soon on scene. Then, it is realized that one of the men has been transformed by his encounter with this space debris.
