- Deborah Watson is an innovative leader in the digital technology and media industry. Her leadership skills began at the age of twelve as part of the first teen council advisory board with the chamber of commerce in their community. She also served on leadership teams at her local church and at the state level on the Kansas State Leadership board for the American Baptist Guild Girls.
Her on stage presence began a few years earlier with a performance in "Down by the Creek Bank" by Dotti Rambo and David Huntsinger. It continued forward through band, choir, two show choirs, and high school plays, "Brigadoon" and "The Music Man". In her early adult life, she launched Faithwalkers International, a non-profit organized designed to train, inspire and empower teen girls through stage productions and one on one mentoring. In 2006, Deborah transitioned from stage to film and began development in digital technology, script writing, and business management in media. She empowers her innovative leadership skills through a film production company - Studio 2.22 Film Productions, LLC, a philanthropic enterprise -Impact 22, a non-profit film festival designed to help educate, equip, and empower other filmmakers- The Branson International Film Festival, and is developing their merchandise department, !Fashion- Fashion with a Po!nt.
Deborah's short film, "Taneycomo" generated Audience Best Choice award at The White Lights Film Festival,(2016) Best Young Actor and Best Women in Film award at the CARE Festival. She was nominated for Best Screenwriter(2020) at the International Christian Film & Music Festival, Orlando. She is a published author in "Big Dreams from Small Spaces", Group publishing company and is a columnist in The Voice of Truth magazine published by Women World Leaders with her story "Holy Hush".
