Sean Ban Beaton is a Canadian stage and screen actor/musician.
Born in Welland, Ontario (Canada), he began playing piano and composing music at a young age, eventually attended Sheridan College and Windsor University to develop his skills in acting, singing, and dancing.
Following theatre school, he moved to Toronto and has since performed live theatre for audiences all across Canada. Highlights include Robert Martin in The Drowsy Chaperone, Tom in The Glass Menagerie, and nearly four years playing Eddie in Toronto's production of Mamma Mia!. He later focused his attention on film & television, playing a cheating husband in the indie feature Please Kill Mr. Know It All (2012), singing "Amazing Grace" on the series finale of Little Mosque on the Prairie (2012), and collecting a series of featured spots in national commercials - one of which titled "A Personal Apology (Just For You)" went viral, winning a Bronze Lion at the Cannes Film Festival.
In 2000, toured Canada and parts of the U.S. in an 'N Sync tribute group along with fellow Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Ricky Martin tributes.
Front man and songwriter for post-punk new wave band FITNESS, which BlogTO included in their list of "Top 10 costumed Toronto bands of all time".
