- [on Bill Murray] Bill was fabulous. He lived in a very normal house with his family and a dog named Bark. He had this little room where he could take meetings and stuff, no different from an actor's flat. He was quiet and he listened, but most of what I remember he was quiet. I had an old Bel Air Chevy and he asked my assistant, Gay Shackelford (who was driving at the time). "What can you do in this car?" and she did a big old donut and burned out of his driveway.
- {on Robin Williams) Hairy and hilarious. You can't say that, but he was really hairy. Does he breathe between words? He was just spewing creativity, and everything that came out of his mouth was absolutely stomach jerking. He was just like a million words a minute. Eventually he got quiet, and gave himself to the lens.
- [on Steve Martin] Steve Martin... ach, what a gentleman! I wish I could see him just to tell him, " Thank you... for being so kind to me." He was very appreciative of my work. I showed my portfolio to a lot of people at SNL, so I could barter time and shoot longer with them. Steve took a look at my work and simply said, "You're an artist."
