Chances are you recognize Tyler Hilton either from his music or from playing Chris Keller on the long-running teen drama series One Tree Hill, which aired nine seasons from 2003 to 2012 on The WB then The CW. You might also know him from the Christmas movies he’s done, including a few Lifetime ones with Oth costars this year’s When Christmas Was Young on CBS. Hilton shares why he thinks people are still loving One Tree Hill and what he enjoys about making those Christmas movies (especially with Hilarie Burton Morgan). You’ve done a few Christmas movies. What do you enjoy most about them? Tyler Hilton: I love watching Christmas movies and they’re honestly some of my favorite movies to do. I don’t know if every actor would feel this way, but I don’t really consider myself an actor either. I feel like I’m ...

For years, One Tree Hill fans watched Tyler Hilton play musician Chris Keller. In his new Christmas movie for CBS, now he’s the one managing artists. In When Christmas Was Young, premiering Sunday, December 18, Hilton’s Luke is in need of a hit for his only remaining client, only to fall for the gifted singer-songwriter (Karen David) from whom he needs to secure the rights to a Christmas song. Hilton discusses why he had fun with this film, compares Luke to Chris Keller, and shares whether you’ll hear him sing (as he has in previous Christmas movies). What drew you to this character and movie? Tyler Hilton: I love these kind of characters. There is something about a totally sure of himself, cocky kind of dude getting put in his place and learning the lesson that knocks him down a peg that I love. I don’t know what it is about that.

Warner Bros’ Dune and Disney’s Encanto scored a leading four wins each at the 20th annual Ves Awards, which were handed out tonight at the Beverly Hilton.
Denis Villeneuve’s epic starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya won the marquee Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature prize — presented by Villeneuve himself. Dune also took trophies for Model, Effects Simulations and Compositing & Lighting. Even though the film opened day-and-date on HBO Max, it still was able to thrive in theaters with a $41 million opening weekend that exceeded expectations and led to a quick greenlight for a sequel weeks later.
Encanto, from directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard, danced away with the top toon honor — Outstanding Visual Effects in an Animated Feature — and also won for Animated Character, Created Environment and Virtual Cinematography.

Burt Lancaster and Edward G. Robinson are excellent in this adaptation of Arthur Miller’s award-winning Broadway play, about a family torn apart by the denial of dark secrets from the WW2 homefront. Mady Christians is the mother who refuses to accept her son’s death, and Louisa Horton and Howard Duff the brother and sister trying to understand how their father could ship defective war materiel responsible for needless combat deaths. The show is powerful, even with Miller’s social message muted — and director Irving Reis gets it all on screen.

Has it really been eight years since we left that magical little town in North Carolina where all your dreams can come true if you just smolder hard enough? We’re talking, of course, about One Tree Hill, the WB/CW teen drama that made household names out of young actors like Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush — and taught some of us everything we know about basketball.
In honor of the series finale‘s eighth anniversary, TVLine is checking in with 13 of the show’s stars — Murray (aka Lucas Scott), James Lafferty (Nathan Scott), Hilarie Burton Morgan (Peyton Sawyer...

The latest series from CBS All Access is coming to the streaming network on Thursday, February 6.
All episodes of Interrogation, a true-crime series that spans two decades, drop at once, and it was the network's intent that you could watch the premiere and then any subsequent episode in any order followed by the finale.
My opinion on the matter differs, though, so I'll first share my thoughts on whether you should watch followed by my thoughts on how to watch.
True-crime events make a great segway to movies, television, and podcasts, and this interpretation of a real case is no different.
The premiere introduces us to Eric Fisher (Kyle Gallner), a rough-looking young man who, at the age of 17, finds himself at continual odds with his parents, Henry and Mary Fisher (David Strathairn and Joanna Going).
On the day we meet Eric, he's out screwing around and doing the things...

With it being the Halloween season, I’m always looking for short horror films to share. I haven’t found many good ones this year, but I’ve finally got one that I’m excited to share with you because it’s a fantastic short that is genuinely creepy!
The film is called Father and it tells the story of a young boy who lives with his mother who does not give him the attention he needs. A dark monster is conjured by the neglect inflicted on her son. This isn’t the father figure that the boy is looking for.
The film comes from Chris Keller, who also directed the horror short 20 Hz that I shared a few years ago. Father is a great follow-up horror film and I think you’re gonna enjoy it. Check it out below!

Christopher Meloni once played a serial rapist by day and a special victims detective by night. Meloni talked about the striking dichotomy between his roles on “Oz” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” with “Inside the Actor’s Studio” host James Lipton. The actor portrayed the roles of prisoner Chris Keller and officer Elliot Stabler simultaneously for a few years. “I knew I was the luckiest actor in New York City,” Meloni said. “To be a working actor in New York City is good enough. To have a steady gig in New York City is a dream come true. To have two, which are awesome shows—forget about it.” Meloni said it wasn’t easy playing too different characters on opposite sides of the law on the same day. He mentioned working on the set of “Oz” from 6 a.m. until noon, playing a prisoner who kills and sodomizes people.
