An Active Member of the Horror Writers Association and the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America, Danielle has been working in the entertainment industry for the past eleven years, as both a writer and editor. She now works full time as a freelancer, and volunteers as a mentor for new writers with the international Horror Writers Association, and sits as the current co-chair for the HWA's San Diego Chapter.
Her latest screenplay, The Kult, a cop thriller, was purchased and produced by Gharial Productions. Current projects include In Extremis, a supernatural western feature, and The Code, a cop and mob TV episodic drama series in development with Ice Fortress Productions, in conjunction with Krystek Productions and Synthetic Human.
She has written multiple published fiction novels, and several action screenplays. Three of her own novels have won national awards for best science fiction, horror, and fantasy, and nine books she has edited have also won literary awards.
Prior to working in publishing and media, she was the editor in chief for one of the largest newspapers in the state of Hawaii, and worked as a GPS analyst for an environmental and archaeological recovery corporation.
