David Peter Ehrlich
David was born in Sydney. He attended
Sydney Grammar School from 1965 to 1977 matriculating with the Higher
School Certificate in 1977. From 1978 to 1980 David Ehrlich studied
Medicine at the University of New South Wales Medical School. He then
switched to studying Law in 1981 and finished his Law and Economics
Degree in 1985 also at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. His
first job was as a Lawyer in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps of the
Australian Navy in 1986 with the rank of Lieutenant. He specialized in
Public International Law and the Geneva and Hague Conventions on the
Laws of War and the Rules of Engagement; he provided lectures in
International Law to the serving military members of all the Armed
Forces of Australia; Air Force, Army and Navy; provided War Games
Scenarios and the impact of the United Nations Convention on the Law of
the Sea(1982)on the tactical operations of sovereign Naval forces on
the high seas; also the current state-of-play on the claims of various
States over their Territorial Waters and Contiguous Zones and Exclusive
Economic Zones. David Ehrlich participated in duty as a serving
Lieutenant in the Navy on the ships of the Australian Navy. He remains
a member of the Royal Australian Navy Reserves (Legal Directorate) to
this day. [26 Years Service]. He has been and continues to be a
practicing Attorney-at-Law/Solicitor in Sydney for the last 26 years
specializing in Commercial & Company Law and Legal Costs in Party/Party
and Solicitor/Client assessments. David Ehrlich began his acting career
in the Theatre as a sideline to his Legal Career and is also quite
adept in Theatrical Sword Fencing and sword play for the Camera,with
all three weapons in this Olympic Sport; namely, Sabre, Foil and Epee.
He competes regularly for Australia in his age group in the Sabre
European Open Championships held each year as well as the World Fencing
Veteran Championships. He also studied Japanese Karate for 10 years
from 1973 to 1983 attaining the 3rd Kyu Brown Belt in that Martial Art.
Since then he has attained his Shodan Black Belt in that discipline. In
addition to theatrical productions as an Actor on stage; David Ehrlich
is also a writer and novelist; with 5 Fiction works to his Credit and
one Non-Fiction Work; "The Siege of Khe Sanh 1967-1968 Vietnam War"
David Ehrlich is also an Entertainment Lawyer and has conducted various
contractual agreements and Licences in the movie industry primarily in
Australia. David Ehrlich has also had experience in Script
writing turning novels/novellas into the appropriate dialogue and
action prompts for the silver screen. Currently David Ehrlich resides

working on a major Script/Novel entitled; "Christ's Soldier" dealing
with the struggle for faith in a dystopian/post-nuclear world and the
struggle between the remnants of mankind divided between East and West.
