- Leon Mitchell is an award winning British film and television director born in Cambridgeshire, England in 1981. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Guildford, Surrey and is a member of BAFTA Connect, the British Film Institute (BFI) and Directors UK. His recent directorial works include teen television series The Luna Squad and the film adaptation of the world renowned Norwegian play "The Lady from the Sea" originally written by one of the most influential playwrights of his time "Henrick Ibsen". Leon is known to have a deep artistic background, having began writing, creating music and making films from a young age in the early 1990's. Leon has traveled around the world and his work often features personally written poetry and inspirational narration that explores relationships, purpose and meaning as an underlying message. Leon focuses more on scripted teen drama based works and children's stories across Science Fiction, Fantasy, Magic and Space. You can often see influences from 80's pop and movie culture embedded within Leon's creative works.
