Jeremiah Kizer
- Actor
Jeremiah Kizer was born into a family tradition of music, storytelling, and eccentricity. Growing up an only child in a small town in Missouri most of his childhood was spent lost in his imagination.
The grandson of Charlie Jones, an award-winning fiddle player, Jeremiah was first introduced on stage at the age of three months. As his motor skills kicked in he was brought on to sing, dance, play a bit of fiddle, or perform a skit or two as the memorable character Herman Horsehair Bugfuzz.
The family passions proved genetic as Jeremiah first went to college to study music before transferring to SCAD where he received his degree in performing arts. He has since worked with theatre companies in Georgia and L.A. and appeared in several independent films. A founding member of Savannah Shakes, Jeremiah has created roles ranging from the title character in a beatnik version of Hamlet to a Ziggy Stardust inspired Ariel in The Tempest.
When not on stage or in front of the camera Jeremiah can usually be found covered in jewelry, surrounded by books, sipping a cocktail, and mentally redecorating your living room. He's never met a shiny object he didn't like.
