Worked as Director of Development for Oscar-winning actor/director/producer Robert Duvall.
Earned his M.F.A. at what was then the U.S.C. School of Cinema-Television, where he won the two top writing awards, the Jack Nicholson Screenwriting Award and the Rosenberg Award.
His co-written script about fair pay icon Lilly Ledbetter, now known as "Fair Fight" was named to the inaugural Athena List which recognizes the top screenplays which feature female protagonists.
Attended Harvard University where he earned a BA in Government, and was the only student to have large public works of visual art on permanent display, including a large steel sculpture "The Three Musicians (After Picasso)".
