Anne studied cinematography at the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. She had a scholarship at La Fémis in Paris. Already during her studies she was nominated for her work at one of the most established and sought-after festivals for cinematography, the Camerimage. The feature film SCHWIMMEN/ SWIMMING (Dir. Luzie Loose) won the Hofer Goldprize in 2018, awarded by Edgar Reitz. In 2019 Anne wins the award for best cinematography at Achtung Berlin New Film Award. SCHWIMMEN started in German cinemas in autumn 2019. The feature film KOPFPLATZEN/ HEADBURST (Dir. Savas Cevic) will celebrate its theatrical release early 2020. Anne takes part at Berlinale Talents Programm 2019 and is full member of the German Film Academy since Mid 2019. She lives in Berlin and has the German and Iranian citizenship.
