Rebecca Hanssen is a London based Scottish actor. Born in Stavanger, Norway to Italian-Irish mother and Norwegian father, she was 4 when her family moved to Scotland and Rebecca grew up in Glasgow before moving to London on her own to further her acting career.
After establishing herself as an actor, Rebecca's first professional role was in the feature film,
The Drowning of Arthur Braxton (2021) directed by
Luke Cutforth , starring alongside
Johnny Vegas. She then went on to play leading roles in two CBBC shows;
Dixi (2014) and
Creeped Out (2017) before landing a role in the Scottish feature film
Tell It to the Bees (2018) starring alongside
Anna Paquin. After that she went on to star as
Jemima West 's daughter in
The Unfamiliar (2020) and Amy Carven in
Lore (2017) before landing the part of Queen Meve in Season 2 of
The Witcher (2019) .
