An Egyptian producer, film director and music composer, born in
Baghdad, Iraq at 1977. Studied filmmaking at the Higher Institute of
Cinema, Academy of Arts, Cairo. Since 1996, worked as a producer,
director, editor, sound designer and music composer produced and
directed a lot of TV commercials and documentaries, also composed a lot
of original soundtracks for features, documentaries, TV series,
musicals, plays, festivals and ceremonies. His first documentary
production (Jews of Egypt) at 2013, has sparked a blaze of publicity
and raised a big social and political controversial in Egypt and the
Middle East, not to mention his participation in more than 15
international film festivals and winning two awards. Also his
masterpiece puppets TV show (Zaza and Gargir), which he produced,
directed and music composed, has achieved great success for six
consecutive seasons in Egypt.
