Mia Smoak is looking like her resilient self in a photo that Arrow alum Katherine McNamara shared on the set of The Flash‘s season-opening “Armageddon” event.
McNamara’s BTS photo (shown below) showed her neither in any familiar Green Arrow get-up nor in the eye black that goes with a domino mask, but showed her (pretend!) bruised and was accompanied by the caption, “Back in a #Flash. #Armageddon here I come.”

The first promo for “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is finally here. Four Sundays from today and we’ll be settling down to watch the first couple of installments of the latest Arrowverse crossover and to mark the occasion, The CW has now shared our first look at some footage from the event. Sure, it’s only 15 seconds long, but it definitely helps hike our hype up even higher.
Seen above, the short teaser compiles two clips as well as a couple of brief shots of some of the heroes. To begin with, in a green-tinted alien landscape, we see the Monitor (Lamonica Garrett) face off against a curious semi-circle of heroes and one villain – the Flash (Grant Gustin), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer). Then there’s a glimpse of Cress Williams’ Black Lightning and Brandon Routh...

It looks like neither time nor space (nor presumed fatalities) will keep anyone from participating in this season’s five-part Arrowverse crossover. The CW on Sunday released the first teaser for “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” which finds a slew of supers suiting up for battle.
The 15-second video includes a dramatic shot of J’onn J’onnz (the Martian Manhunter), Sara Lance (White Canary), Barry Allen (The Flash), Kara Danvers (Supergirl), Lex Luthor — who apparently got a new lease on life from The Monitor’s visit in Supergirl‘s fourth season finale — and Kate Kane (Batwoman), looking ready to rumble.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” is now just under a month away, and we’re learning more and more about the incoming crossover as the start date nears. Just yesterday, for instance, Arrow Ep Marc Guggenheim held an impromptu Q&a about the event on his Twitter account. One fan asked him about what viewers of The Flash could look forward to and in response, Guggenheim teased what looks to be a major story element of the crossover.
The producer’s reply saw him reveal how integral Candice Patton’s Iris West-Allen is to “Crisis,” promising that the reporter from Central City will be the one who “recruits the seventh Paragon.”

Even without a suit, Barry Allen is still a hero despite being bars as he tries to come through to Big Sir.
Team Flash have their hands full too on The Flash Season 4 Episode 12 with a new meta that is bound to bring nostalgia to a classic movie.
I didn't know how "Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash" would play out at first. For a minute. I didn't think they would be literal with the title!
But The Flash Season 4 is keeping up with its promise to be more fun. What worked so well was the fact that the metahuman tied into the A-story.
The more Goldberg was on screen, the more I fell in love with Big Sir. That's why it was bittersweet that we bid him farewell at the end even though it was a victory for him.
I rarely connect with the metahumans of the week on The Flash.

Say what you will about Zack Snyder’s directing style – or Joss Whedon’s, for that matter – but he sure knows a thing or two about lining the fabric of each feature film, be it Watchmen or Man of Steel or the recently-released Justice League, with scores of cute Easter eggs to uncover.
And that’s exactly what we here at Wgtc did soon after Justice League‘s arrival on November 17th, when our own Christian Bone compiled a list of subtle references that you may have missed. But it turns out that there’s another DC-related Easter egg hidden away in one of the videos pulled from S.T.A.R. Labs. First spotted by the eagle eyes of Reddit, this moment of fan service comes right around the time when Bruce Wayne and Alfred are combing through the archives in their search for Silas Stone, the estranged father...

The Ryan Choi version of Atom is headed to Injustice 2, and he looks like he's going to be a lot to handle! Players will be able to shrink down or grow up to smash their opponents in battle. As cool as it is to see Choi in game, I'm hoping a Ray Palmer skin appears in-game! Check out the trailer and let us know how you feel about this new Dlc character.

While some of DC’s heaviest hitters continue saving the day a global scale in the publisher’s flagship team-up book, Justice League, up and coming scribe Steve Orlando has been carving a different niche with a ragtag team consisting of Batman, Black Canary, Lobo, the Ray, the Atom, Vixen and Killer Frost over in the pages of Justice League of America.
In the latest episode of DC All Access, co-host Jason Inman had the privilege of chatting with Orlando about the soon to be released issue #7. Aside from placing the antagonistic focus on the attention seeking Terrorsmith, readers will definitely want to keep their eyes affixed to the possibly budding romance involving Caitlin Snow and Ryan Choi.
Personally, I think the character of Killer Frost is one of the biggest crossover draws to be co-headlining this series aside from Batman. In addition to luring in fans of The Flash TV series,...

Now that the second wave of DC’s Rebirth initiative is underway, it’s only fitting that a team-up book kick things off in the form of the new Justice League of America series. Written by rising star Steve Orlando and illustrated by the incomparable Ivan Reis, this title sells itself by collecting one of the most eclectic lineups to ever make up a super group: Batman, Lobo, Black Canary, Vixen, the Atom, the Ray and Killer Frost.
Five of those characters are probably only there because some iteration currently occupies The CW’s Arrowverse (lest you forget the Ray is being granted a CW Seed animated web series), but their inclusion makes it no less exciting. After all, each are still markedly different from their small screen counterparts, bringing their own strengths and weaknesses along. If anything, this series is about second chances.

In addition to his stellar work on Supergirl, Steve Orlando has everyone talking about his upcoming series, Justice League of America. Spinning directly out of the events of Justice League vs. Suicide Squad, it could be argued that it’s the most anticipated new book from DC to be released in the first quarter of 2017.
Uniting with possibly the best penciler-inker combination in the industry today in Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, Orlando brings together one of the most eclectic and interesting lineups to ever grace a team-up book from this publisher: Batman, Lobo, Black Canary, the Ray, the Atom, Vixen and Killer Frost. To be quite honest, you wouldn’t have to even tell me what the story entails and I would be sold on that knowledge alone.

Not unlike Marvel’s decision to deal with legacy heroes, DC is bringing back one of its oldest heroes in style in an unexpected way. While the character of Ryan Choi may not be unfamiliar to you, it comes as a bit of a surprise that he’s suiting up in the pages of Justice League of America: The Atom #1.
Any longtime follower of the Atom is undoubtedly aware of the various men to adopt that name, be it Ryan, Al Pratt, or, of course, Ray Palmer. Taking into account that the latter is currently enjoying mainstream success in a starring role on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and you can see why we’re slightly bewildered that it’s not Palmer getting a piece of the action in the comic book realm. After all, Vixen and Killer Frost, both of whom have also seen small screen exposure thanks to The CW,...
