As explained by the film director Gareth Edwards regarding the guerrilla-style filmmaking approach used to shoot the movie, the tools were also confirmed. It’s amazing to reveal that this $80,000,000 budget sci-fi movie was shot on these affordable and reachable tools: Sony FX3, Ronin RS2, Atomos Ninja, Kowa 75mm anamorphic, and ProRes Raw.
