Since graduating from Ryerson's Film Studies program in 2009, and after
participating in travels across Canada in the Katimavik program, as
well as frequent travel in Europe, this 26 year old filmmaker has
devoted himself to creating short experimental films. Nathaniel
Fox-Pappas explains that the subject matter of these six films is
deeply personal and autobiographical to a certain extent. However,
viewers are encouraged to indulge in their own interpretation of the
films. Aron Tager took interest while attending both screenings at the
Fox Theatre in 2011 and 2012. Tager and Fox-Pappas began work on a
documentary film based on Tager's life as a painter/actor in 2013.
Most recently "Paresis Bloom" was accepted and shown at the Bach Modern Experimental Video Art Exhibition in Salzburg, Austria. "Ultrasonic Nativity" has been shown in Austria at the Bach Modern Experimental Video Art Exhibition and at the Akdeniz University/Fine Art Faculty in Turkey.
Tager, Nathaniel Fox-Pappas' first feature documentary was released at the Fox Theatre on November 30th 2013.
