Carys Thomas(I)

Carys graduated from Swansea Metropolitan University with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) Music Technology degree in July 2013. After being accepted for a scholarship she continued to study st University of Wales Trinity Saint David for a MA in Creative Sound Production.
She is a classically trained musician who has had first hand experience working within sound departments on London's West End and on Broadway on various Number 1 shows.
She also has film credits for sound assistance work on the movie A Viking Saga: The Darkest Day (2013) from Lindisfarne Films Ltd. and recently completed her second film as a Foley Editor for The Berserkers (2014) with the same company.
Both inside and outside of university, Carys has completed many recording and mixing sessions and her experience spans from rock bands and singer/songwriters to jazz bands, choirs and orchestras.
She has certificates from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music including Grade 6 Piano, Grade 5 Music Theory and Grade 3 E Flat Saxophone. As well as these, she also has an A Level and GCSE in Classical Music. She is able to read orchestral, drum and choral scores.
