Baldur’s Gate 3 is set for an Xbox arrival but one of its quirks has players reminiscing about game releases from a ‘technologically dead’ age. In a series of updates on X, Larian’s Director of Publishing Michael Douse announced that the physical copy of the game would have 4 disks.
As the game would have 4 discs, players who are going to purchase the physical Deluxe edition are going to be reminded of the days when games like Final Fantasy VIII took this much disc space. In an age where online releases are the norm, the 4-disc Xbox release of Baldur’s Gate 3 feels like a throwback to a time when technology was far behind today’s.
