In 2014, Wes Ball made his directorial debut with the dystopian science fiction film The Maze Runner which is based on James Dashner’s novel of the same name. The filmmaker subsequently went on to direct two more films in the franchise which follows the story of a teenager who is thrown into an intricate maze and must find his way out of it.

The central protagonist in the films was played by Dylan O’Brien who impressed with his performance in the trilogy. But the young actor who aptly developed the nuances of his character through the narratives, was initially not considered the perfect choice by Ball owing to a certain preconceived notion that he had of him.

Exclusive: In what is shaping up to be the first big bidding war over a TV pitch after the double Hollywood strikes, multiple buyers are circling Cape Fear, a drama series re-imagining of the classic Universal thrillers, sources tell Deadline. In their first ever TV collaboration, Oscar winners Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese are executive producing the project, from creator, executive producer and showrunner Nick Antosca (The Act), Amblin Television and UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
In what is described as an unconventional take on the IP that draws from John D. MacDonald’s novel and its feature adaptations, the Cape Fear series is a tense, contemporary thriller that examines America’s obsession with true crime in the 21st century. Tyler Hoechlin in ‘Superman & Lois’
The CW’s confirmed that Superman & Lois starring Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf) and Elizabeth Tulloch (Grimm) will wrap up with the upcoming fourth season. The superhero action series was the last remaining holdout from The CW’s old comic-book-inspired primetime lineup that included Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, Supergirl, Batwoman, Stargirl, and Gotham Knights.
Season four will consist of just 10 episodes and is expected to air in 2024.
“While we’re sad to say goodbye to Superman & Lois at the end of Season Four, we’re grateful for the time we’ve had with our amazing cast, crew, vfx teams, editors, musical geniuses, and writers. Since the day this show was first discussed, it was about family. And that’s what was created—on and off screen,” stated executive producers and co-showrunners Todd Helbing and Brent Fletcher.”

When we first heard about Fear the Invisible Man last year, the project was seeking a distributor. Now 101 Films has given the film a digital, VOD, and DVD release, and you can check it out at This Link! To help you decide whether or not Fear the Invisible Man is a movie you would like to see, we have embedded the film’s trailer at the top of this article.
Directed by Paul Dudbridge from a script written by Philip Daay and based on a concept from Monika Gergelova, Fear the Invisible Man is described as being a “period action thriller”. It tells the following story: Adeline, a young British woman, shelters an old medical school colleague, a man who has somehow turned himself invisible. As his isolation grows and his sanity frays, he schemes to create a reign of wanton murder and terror across the city – and Adeline...

A year and a half ago, we heard that M. Night Shyamalan was producing the thriller The Vanishings at Caddo Lake, which was being directed by the duo of Celine Held and Logan George – who made their feature directorial debut with the 2020 drama Topside and went on to direct episodes of Shyamalan’s Apple TV+ series Servant. That movie, which now has the shorter title Caddo Lake, still doesn’t have a release date… but it does have a rating. The Motion Picture Association’s ratings board has given Caddo Lake a PG-13 for some disturbing/bloody images, thematic elements, and brief strong language.
Shyamalan has only made two R-rated movies (The Happening and Knock at the Cabin), so it’s not surprising to hear that this Shyamalan-produced project has earned a PG-13.
Held and George wrote the screenplay for the film, crafting the following story: When an 8-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes on Caddo Lake,...

Most recently adapted by Leigh Whannell for Universal’s 2020 movie The Invisible Man, the classic H.G. Wells story gets a new adaptation with this year’s Fear the Invisible Man.
It’s not an official Universal Studios horror movie, mind you, but Wells’ The Invisible Man is a classic tale that’s in the public domain, allowing for indie productions such as this one.
Fear the Invisible Man releases on Digital, VOD and DVD June 13, 2023, and you can watch the official trailer below. This one looks like a polished indie production, playing out closer to the original Universal Monsters classic than Leigh Whannell’s updated reimagining. Some of the digital effects work is a bit rough, but otherwise this one looks to be well worth our time.
In the film from Hanover Pictures, “A young British widow shelters an old medical school colleague, a man who has somehow turned himself invisible.

This article contains spoilers through Teen Wolf season 6.
Watching MTV’s Teen Wolf for the first time years after it aired is an interesting experience. There are many things about the series that feel like a product of the 2010s, from the Bieber-esque hairstyle we first see Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) wear in the first season to the borderline cheesy romances. But what stands out the most watching this series now is how much the final season reflects the state of the U.S. and its politics during that time.
2017 marked the first year of Donald Trump’s presidency, and a turning point in U.S. politics that we’re still dealing with to this day. Electing a reality TV star not only gave an incompetent buffoon more power than he should have ever had, but it reinforced to certain extreme sects of the country that their views of the world were right.

This article contains spoilers for Teen Wolf: The Movie.
TV cancellations are even more regular than a full moon these days, so there’s something to be said for Teen Wolf‘s almost animalistic tenacity. Hailing from the days when shows actually reached six seasons, MTV’s soft reboot of the ‘80s movie was canceled after a mammoth 100 episodes in 2017.
But like people always say, you can’t keep a good lycanthrope down, because six years later, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his pack are back with the first of what could be many Teen Wolf movies.
In fact, judging by how Teen Wolf: The Movie ends, it looks like creator Jeff Davis is counting on it.

This Teen Wolf: The Movie review contains no spoilers.
Riddle me this: Is a Teen Wolf still a Teen Wolf when he becomes a full-grown “Man Wolf”?
That’s essentially the premise of Teen Wolf‘s comeback movie which brings Tyler Posey’s Scott McCall back on our screens for the first time since 2017.
Now in his mid-thirties, our not-so-Teen Wolf is still the Alpha, but Beacon Hills is no longer the place it once was. Fifteen years or so have passed since everyone last walked off together dramatically on the long-running MTV series. Jumping ahead to 2026, Scott’s pack has now been scattered by the years and circumstance — as well as real-life issues offscreen too.
That’s right. A lot of your faves are back, including some faces you might not be expecting, but there are a couple of key players missing, and the film does suffer a bit for it.

It’s Ok to hate Billy Mayfield, the bully who loudly and violently made a splash in Hawkins, Indiana, for the second season of “Stranger Things.” After all, he follows in the footsteps of some of the classic ‘80s bullies in films such as “Teen Wolf,” “Stand by Me,” “Pretty in Pink,” “The Lost Boys,” “Footloose,” and “Some Kind of Wonderful.”
In fact, breakout star Dacre Montgomery had to read Kiefer Sutherland’s scene from “Stand by Me” – the 1986 Stephen King film that’s set in the late ‘50s – to demonstrate that he was threatening enough for the role. Billy’s personality is so aggressive that he’s a danger to others around him. He even beats Steve (Joe Keery) to a bloody pulp during a confrontation at the Byers house.

Need to catch up? Check out the previous Outlander recap here.
Ladies and gentlemen, Dr. Claire Randall has left the country.
In this week’s episode, Outlander‘s protagonist sadly decides that she can’t spend any more time searching historical records for one James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser, then packs up her regret, her massive cloud of ’60s hair and her daughter and hightails it back to America. (I’ll go into more detail later, but seriously, that more than sums up up Claire’s portion of the hour.)
Meanwhile, Jamie’s half of the episode spans eight years and includes accidental pregnancy,...

Now that Law & Order: Svu has reached Season 19, maybe it’s time for the NBC procedural to give its long-persecuted heroine Olivia Benson a bit of a break?
Fat chance, says newly appointed showrunner Michael Chernuchin.

Newspapers in the movies are often hilarious with their headlines and bylines. Obviously most of them have something to do with the movie but in some cases it might have something to do with a real life situation that happens to be covered by the movie. But more often than not the fictitious newspapers or bulletins will be exclusive to the film. Usually the headlines range from normal and conservative to outlandish and quite silly. Those are usually the fun ones though. The one about Teen Wolf in this upper picture is one that comes out not long after he

Following a delay in production and release, this weekend brought about our first look at the final Maze Runner movie, The Death Cure, teasing an intense and explosive finale. Come inside to check it out!
If you've been eager to get your first look at Maze Runner: The Death Cure, the first trailer arrived last night during the Teen Wolf series finale. If you missed it, however, you can check it out right here:
The Maze Runner movies have been among the most surprising Young Adult movie adaptations to hit in recent years, at least for me personally. I wasn't expecting much from the first movie, but was surprised at how engaging the characters were and the tension the filmmakers managed to bring. The sequel opened up the world with a larger threat while retaining the character connections. All together I'm eager to see how this franchise wraps up and...

After six seasons and a hundred episodes (exactly), it all comes to this episode. "The Wolves of War" is Teen Wolf's series finale. After a very solid final season, the show delivers with one excellent, extra-sized closer. This episode is pretty light on heartfelt character moments, preferring to go almost all action, but it still manages to be satisfying, using the returning cast to their full potential and having a ton of callbacks and Easter Eggs to the series' past.

Considering the show is literally about hormonal teenage animals, it really shouldn’t surprise you how many couples Teen Wolf has produced over the course of 100 episodes.
As we approach Sunday’s series finale (MTV, 8/7c), TVLine is taking stock of the romances we rooted for — or against, in some cases — during the past six seasons. (Disclaimer: I only included actual couples that made physical contact at some point throughout the series, so pairings like “Sterek” were unfortunately ineligible.)
(Second disclaimer: After reviewing these pairings, I have to offer my condolences to Lydia. She got stuck with some real duds over the years.

He did, of course, note that helping another designer doesn’t go against any official rule.
