"Leave now! And tell your kind about me... Tell your kind a new God will soon rule!" Oh damn!! Holy hell this is awesome. A badass fan-film has debuted online called Logan the Wolf, made by a French stuntman / filmmaker / fight choreographer named Godefroy Ryckewaert. He's most recently worked as a fighter choreographer on The Witcher series, and also the upcoming The Crow remake. Set in a desolate, post-apocalyptic world, the 12-minute short film follows Logan as he navigates a hostile environment, facing both old and new enemies. The narrative focuses on Logan's struggle with the burden of his past. This looks like it's inspired by the underrated French action film Brotherhood of the Wolf. It reinvents Wolverine as if he were a fighter in a time with Vikings and fur-clad warriors. It's extremely violent & uber brutal, and is pretty much one giant 10 minute action sequence with kick ass stunt work from Ryckewaert's team.

From comic books to movies, Wolverine is one of the most popular superhero characters that has become an instant fan favorite. The character made its comic book in 1974, in Incredible Hulk #180. However, Logan’s popularity skyrocketed when Hugh Jackman decided to portray the mutant for the majority of his career to the point that he would become synonymous with the role.

Fans were thrilled to learn that Jackman was returning to reprise his iconic role in Deadpool 3. Everyone is looking forward to the film because it features potential numerous variants of Weapon X. However, the MCU is going to face serious competition with a fanmade project that has received a thumbs up from the X-Men fans as they want the character to be a part of the MCU.

A very impressive - and very bloody - independent fan-film has been shared online, and it reimagines Wolverine as a Viking warrior in Medieval times.
Directed by Godefroy Ryckewaert, the ultra-violent Logan The Wolf begins with a group of mercenaries approaching this far more ruthless and bloodthirsty take on the iconic mutant hero, who has been accused of brutally slaughtering anyone who encounters him - including women and children.
Logan, who refers to himself as "Fenrir's Fury," makes short work of his attackers in extremely gruesome fashion, before being approached by a man who offers to join forces so they can both rid the world of the human "animals."
We don't want to spoil exactly who this character is supposed to be, but be sure to keep watching for a short post-credits scene.

We may still be more than two months out from Deadpool & Wolverine but that doesn’t mean we don’t have new content with the latter. Well, sort of. Hugh Jackman may not have had anything to do with it but a new fan film making its way around the web has given Wolverine his most badass makeover in some time, putting him in viking garb and reinterpreting the Marvel character in a way we didn’t know we needed!
After a precautionary disclaimer saying the Wolverine fan film is not meant to capitalize on the property, we hear a character growl, “I am wrath. I am chaos and violence. I am death and resurrection. I am Fenrir’s fury,” before going into the action. And there is some pretty incredible action here, with the titular hero of Logan the Wolf doing pretty much everything he promised in his furious prologue,...
