Bonnie Blue Edwards is a filmmaker and theatre producer in NYC who grew
up in Alabama. She made the switch from a career in international business by interning at the McArthur Genius Award-winning nonprofit
The Moth-a live storytelling organization with shows nationwide and a
Peabody Award-winning radio hour on NPR. She later collaborated with
Catherine Burns, Artistic Director of The Moth, and George Dawes Green,
Founder of The Moth and renowned author, to produce legendary
poet/playwright Edgar Oliver's premiere performance of Helen & Edgar
-which received rave reviews from The New York Times and has since
showcased at The Public, as well as other prestigious performance
centers around the world. Since the premiere, Edwards has worked on a number of film and theatre projects.
