In Dallas’ big season 3 finale, fans were forced to say goodbye to one member of the Ewing family. Specifically, they were forced to watch as Nicolas blew up Christopher’s car … with Christopher inside. But with one Ewing gone, there’s another on the horizon, because John Ross also discovered he has a sister. Needless to say, it was a gasp-worthy end to a season full of twists, turns, sketchy cartel members, and more.
Unfortunately, Jesse Metcalfe wasn’t able to hop on the phone, but the star did issue this statement about his departure from the series: “In classic...

Operation: Save the Ewings went off (relatively) without a hitch on Monday’s two-hour Dallas season finale, but as we all know, victory tends to be short-lived at Southfork.
Related Cable Renewal Scorecard: What’s Coming Back? What’s Cancelled? What’s on the Bubble?
As promised, the finale claimed the life of a Ewing family member, though not the one most fans predicted. In the episode’s final moments, a car explosion — possibly a marketing ploy for TNT’s new “boom” slogan — burnt poor Christopher to a crisp. A Crisp-topher, if you will.

TNT has promised one of the Ewings will die on the Season 3 finale of “Dallas,” which airs Monday night. But which family member will kick the bucket? Also read: ‘Dallas’ Star Josh Henderson Answers Twitter Questions; Talks New Music, Film and Season 4 Renewal Chances The short teaser offered ominous glimpses of mainstays Bobby (Patrick Duffy), Sue Ellen (Linda Gray), John Ross (Josh Henderson), Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe) and Ann (Brenda Strong). Bobby, being held captive in the video, seems to be in an especially precarious predicament. But would the network kill off a main player, especially amid renewal concerns? Perhaps the (likely metaphorical) axe.

Hey "Dallas" peeps. We're sad to say that we can't officially confirm the new season 4 of your favorite show, tonight, as TNT hasn't served up an official confirmation as of yet. However, there is definite reason for you guys to be positive in a season 4 renewal. First of all, TNT billed the season 3 finale show as the "season" finale and not the "series" finale. That definitely says they do have a season 4 renewal in mind at the very least. Also, the season 3 cliffhanger sets up a new season 4, which is obviously another positive indicator as the show crew, themselves, are confident that they'll get a season 4 renewal. If that weren't enough, Dallas' showrunner, Cynthia Cidre, recently dished some new season 4 spoiler teasers to Entertainment Weekly, saying that she plans to have season 4 do a big timeline jump and send Sue Ellen in a “completely different direction.” So, keep your fingers crossed,...

The Show | Mistresses
The Episode | “Til Death Do Us Part”

You can hate Josslyn Carver for (finally) succumbing to her feelings for ex-brother-in-law Harry on the Season 2 finale of Mistresses, but you’ve got to applaud her portrayer Jes Macallan for bringing humor and heartbreak, agony and (most definitely) ecstasy to a story arc that — without her deft performance — could’ve easily been dismissed as soap-opera cliché.
