- Marko Albrecht began making videos at age 12 with his mother's VHS camera and over the last 22 years has produced award-winning video, TV, film, social and digital content for Celebrities, TV Networks, Films, Musicians, Athletes, Governments, Franchises and Brands including Mark Wahlberg, Victor Cruz, Andy Cohen, IBM, Havas Digital, Minute Maid, American Cancer Society. He founded Essential Creative in 2007 and the company has won numerous Telly Awards for its video, social and digital marketing work.
Albrecht has produced multiple narrative short films including the festival traveled dramedy 'Showtime.' Albrecht recently completed his first feature film documentary, SISU: Family, Perseverance and Love from Finland to America. He also created ESNTL TV, a multi channel Youtube partner focused on the modern man's lifestyle, travel, EDM and nightlife that has shot with TIesto, Ferry Corsten, ATB, DeadMau5, DJ AM.
Albrecht graduated with a BA as a D1 Academic All American Athlete in Soccer from Long Island University Brooklyn - Summa Cum Laude in 2004. He supports many causes including the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, Finland Center Foundation, NYC Arts Cypher and Reel Works Teen Filmmaking. Albrecht is on the Executive Committee of the Producers Guild of America New Media Council and is a member of the Television Academy Interactive Media Peer Group.
