Mo'ne Davis is taking the high road.
The pitching phenomenon reached out to Bloomsburg University after they released baseball player Joey Casselberry from the team, following an offensive tweet in which he called the 13-year-old Little League World Series star a "slut." Casselberry was reacting to news that Mo'ne is getting her own Disney Channel movie, writing this now-deleted tweet.
"Disney is making a movie about Mo'ne Davis? What A Joke. That slut got rocked by Nevada."

Not surprisingly, the tweet didn't sit well with Bloomsburg, who noted that "his words do not represent Bloomsburg University," before announcing his dismissal on Twitter.
Still, Mo'ne showed her maturity on Sunday, when she emailed university President David L. Soltz, asking the school to reinstate Casselberry.

Thirteen-year-old pitcher Mo'ne Davis made headlines this Summer for her incredible performance in the Little League World Series, and now her inspiring story is the subject of Throw Like a Girl, a short film written and directed by Spike Lee. In the 16-minute documentary for Chevrolet, Mo'ne's talent and recent triumphs are celebrated by her team, her family, and her fans; she famously used her 70 mph fastball to help get her team, Philadelphia's Taney Dragons, to the Mid-Atlantic Region final back in August and became the first girl to throw a shutout game in the history of the competition. Mo'ne also made history as the first Little Leaguer to land the cover of Sports Illustrated, and judging by this film, she's planning to take the basketball world by storm as well.
