- Producer
Frederick Russ is a US-based composer & producer with broad experience
in production aspects of symphonic and choir related custom
sample-based projects for film, television and video game placement. He
had his music successfully placed in movie trailers "Lincoln" Showtime
world premiere and "Brave" movie trailer. His music was heard on the
Winter Olympics 2010. His music also has been aired on ABC, NBC, ESPN,
CNN, Showtime, HBO, FOX & CBS. As a session guitarist, additional music
composer and orchestrator, his music can be heard on Activision
Transformers Fall of Cybertron & EA Sports Madden 13 titles. Frederick
directly oversaw and managed a 40+ member custom symphonic sampling
project called VI-PRO for composers. He was directly responsible for
the organization and administration, financial budgeting and planning.
He is well versed in personnel management and mentoring. Back in 2004,
Frederick created VI Control Forum - one of the largest online
international communities for music composers, midi mock up artists,
producers and sound designers who work on television, film, video games
and commercial radio. It still continues to thrive today after ten
years as one of the largest and pertinent resources for composers
worldwide. Between January 2004 - July 2008, Frederick also was a
regular contributing writer to Virtual Instruments Magazine. He
interviewed several prolific composers for his own column called "MIDI
Mockup Microscope". Trivia: Frederick wants to help those who are
depressed, anxious, creatively stuck who may have attention deficit
issues. He created a trademarked audio technology - supported by
science - to assist those who are depressed, anxious, fearful,
unfocused and who want more joy, focus and happiness in their lives.
Therefore he founded a unique State-of-the-Art Brainwave Training
Company and created trademarked audio technology. He calls it
InnerTempo '8une' (pronounced "a-ttune"). Studies conclude that usage
of this technology alleviates stress, fear, anxiety, and depression,
enhances deep meditation, improved focus and concentration, even
enhanced IQ & SAT scores as result of use; reduction in cortisol
(stress hormone) and increased flow of endorphin and serotonin levels
boosting well-being, joy, peace, happiness, improved confidence and
better social integration leading to healthier relationships with self
and others.
