Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s latest television show, Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights! We’ve got the commentary team of Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone calling the action, so let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Bryan Danielson def. Katsuyori Shibata The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Danielson and Shibata chain wrestled at the start of the match. Danielson bridged his way out of wristlock. Shibata tried to keep his distance from Danielson’s kicks. They locked up and traded kicks. Danielson stomped on the back of Shibata’s knees, targeting the hamstrings. Danielson kicked Shibata in the spine. Shibata rocked Danielson with forearms, but Danielson countered with a butterfly suplex. Danielson put Shibata in a surfboard submission, but Shibata escaped. Danielson and Shibata traded chops until Danielson went low and dropped Shibata with a single leg takedown. Shibata suplexed Danielson...

It’s Monday so you know what that means, it’s time for our weekly review of Aew: Rampage! This week’s show was broadcast from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky and featured Excalibur and Tony Schiavone on commentary. Now let’s get to the review…
Match #1: Aew International Championship Match – Orange Cassidy def. Aaron Solo The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Solo kicked Orange in the midsection. Orange countered with a side headlock takeover. Orange had Solo’s ankles trapped and then he sent Solo to the arena floor with an arm drag. Solo pulled Orange out of the ring. Orange went to strike Solo when Solo used Harley as a human shield. Orange wasted no time, moved around them, and connected with a tope suicida on Solo. Cassidy climbed to the top rope, but Harley interfered and pulled Orange down. Solo seized the opportunity to go on the attack.

It’s Monday so you know what that means, it’s time for our weekly review of Aew: Rampage! This week’s show was broadcast from the Td Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and featured Excalibur, Chris Jericho and Tony Schiavone on commentary. Now let’s get to the review…
Match #1: Royal Rampage – Winner: Darby Allin
My Thoughts: For those unaware what a “Royal Rampage” match is… well, due to the fact Rampage was taped at the same time as this week’s Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite the show had two rings. One red ring and one blue ring, both featuring different wrestlers taking part in two simultaneous “royal rumble” style matches. Which means the camera misses the majority of the action until the number of men in the ring is whittled down enough. It’s even worse than trying to follow a One ring Royal Rumble! Eventually...

Match #1: Orange Cassidy, Adam Cole, Bandido & Roderick Strong def. Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Before the match began Chris Jericho walked onto the ramp. He was wearing a T-shirt with a graphic of Dr. Britt Baker. Jericho taunted Adam Cole and then joined the commentary team. Daniel Garcia and Roderick Strong began the match for their respective sides. Garcia shot for a single leg takedown, but Roddy sprawled. They traded forearms and then Roddy chopped at Garcia’s chest. Adam Cole tagged in, but Garcia used a knee to Cole’s abdomen. Garcia tagged out to Angelo Parker. Bandido scoop slammed Parker.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which once again this week features a whopping Nine matches – where’s the swift and fun five-match card gone?! Anyway, on with the review…
Match #1: Ar Fox def. Nick Comoroto
My Thoughts: Good god, this was an unexpectedly great match! I honestly didn’t think we’d see a match this good from Nick Comoroto. Ever. Kudos to Ar Fox for getting such a good performance from Comoroto, making both of them look fantastic come the match’s conclusion.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Skye Blue def. Queen Aminata
My Thoughts: And you can repeat everything I said about the Fox/Comoroto match for this match too. Queen Aminata has always stood out from the enhancement talent Aew bring in to face their performers and here she got a great match out of Skye Blue, easily one of her best matches in the company so far.

They exchanged strikes at the beginning of the match. Penta El Zero Miedo blasted Hobbs with a thrust kick and then a dropkick, sending Hobbs tumbling to the arena floor. Penta El Zero Miedo was about to rocket out of the ring but Hobbs countered with a stiff forearm. He followed up by ramming Penta El Zero Miedo into the ring post. We had another Aew pay-per-view this past weekend, so you know what that means… A bonus Saturday episode of Aew: Dark which thankfully only features a handful of matches rather than the growing number of the regular Dark features! Anyway, on with the review…
Match #1: The Acclaimed def. The Workhorsemen
My Thoughts: A great start to this special extra episode of Dark, with one of my favourite tag teams taking on one of Aew’s most popular tag teams in a match that ended up being a exciting back and forth that thankfully didn’t have The Workhorsemen just lying down and eating the pin.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Daniel Garcia def. Aaron Solo

Match #1: Death Triangle def. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks — Matt & Nick Jackson) The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Don Callis joined the broadcast booth for this match. Nick Jackson and Penta El Zero Miedo traded offensive, each countering the other. Rey Fenix tagged in and the Young Bucks used tandem offense. Pac and Kenny Omega tagged in for their respective teams and Kenny Omega smashed Pac face-first into the mat. Matt and Kenny hit double planchas to the outside while Nick followed up, jumping off the top turnbuckle onto Pac. Nick tweaked his ankle and tagged out. Brandon Cutler used some cold spray on Nick’s ankle.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, this is a special (and short) bonus episode in the build-up to Roh: Final Battle 2022. We’ve got Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight, and Matt Menard on commentary [again], so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) def. Sal Muscat and Ativalu
My Thoughts: Roh stalwarts The Kingdom get a pre-ppv warm-up match. Well, I say warm-up match but you can’t really warm anything up when you’re squashing your opponents in a quick match, can you? I don’t know what it is about The Kingdom but the team really doesn’t resonate with me at all… Though Nerdly’s Kev is a big fan, so there’s that!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Athena def. Madi Wrenkowski

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, this week features more main roster names than usual and another 9-match card! We’ve got Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight, and Matt Menard on commentary, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Nick Comoroto def. Hagane Shinno
My Thoughts: Interesting to see Comoroto booked as a monster once again, with Shinno booked as the plucky underdog who could not get the big man down. That’s not to say Shinno didn’t put in the effort but it was like watching a fly trying to beatdown a bulldog! Comoroto spent a bit too much time playing to the crowd but still, this was an Ok start to the show.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir def. Kitty Lafleur and Alice Crowley

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, this week features an Eddie Kingston main event… Hell yes. Though we have to sit through nine matches before that! We’ve got Ian Riccaboni, Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary once again, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: The Bunny def. Blain Onyx
My Thoughts: The Bunny took control of this one for the get-go, only “letting” Blain Onyx get a few hits in so it didn’t look like she totally folded. But otherwise this was a complete and total squash.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brandon Cutler def. Man Scout
My Thoughts: Another Brandon Cutler comedy match… What did you expect? Classic wrestling? He’s fighting Man Scout here folks! This was more of your typical Aew quasi-squash but the outcome was Never in doubt. At all. In the slightest.

My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Willow Nightingale and Hikaru Shida def. Leva Bates and Emi Sakura

Zero Hour: Match #1: Orange Cassidy, Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta), Rocky Romero & Danhausen def. The Factory The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Best Friends hit a shoulder tackle on Aaron Solo. Trent chopped away at Solo in the corner turnbuckles. Rocky Romero did the forever clotheslines on Lee Johnson and finished if off with a big uppercut. Qt Marshall jumped in and got bounced around by right hands from Chuck, Trent, Rocky, and Orange. Cole Karter attempted a frog splash but Trent lifted his knees, and Karter crashed down below.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which features 8 matches on the card this week (thankfully; I do love a shorter show)… On with the review!
Match #1: Sky Blue def. Paris Van Dale
My Thoughts: Paris Van Dale is back again to get squashed by a signed Aew talent! I jest but Van Dale at least got more of a chance to show off her skills in this match than against Tay Melo. Sky Blue once again delivered a solid performance and the growth in her skills is very apparent every time she wrestles. As is the case here. A solid start to the show.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: The Iron Savages def. Brando Lee & Lucas Chase

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark and like I said in my Elevation review, I missed last week’s two Aew YouTube shows due to the sheer amount of wrestling that was on TV/PPV! So I’m back at it this week, with a show taped in front of a live Toronto crowd… On with the review!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Iseah Brown
My Thoughts: Lance Archer just feels like a broken record these days. Drag your opponent to the ring. Check. Throw him around. Check. Get the pin. Check. But hey, at least he’s wrestling matches.

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which is another stacked 10-match card And a live audience thanks to being taped in DC… On with the review!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Alec Odin
My Thoughts: Two matches in a row for Archer, this was even more of a squash than his Elevation match this week! Odin did get a move or two in but this was very much Archer’s match.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Penelope Ford, Serena Deeb and Jamie Hayter def. Jordan Blade, Trish Adora and Brittany Blake
My Thoughts: I was totally surprised to see that this match Wasn’T a squash – as it certainly looked like it would be on paper. Thankfully this instead was a well-fought, competitive match – one that really showcased the trio of heels to perfection.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #3: Hikaru Shida def. Marina Shafir
My Thoughts: Well colour me shocked!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got Paul Wight finally back on commentary this week where he is joined by Roh’s Ian Riccaboni. So let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Skye Blue def. Trish Adora
My Thoughts: Fan-favourite Skye Blue opens Elevation in a quasi-squash match against Trish Adora. Unfortunately both women didn’t quite gel and this one felt a lot more like the kind of “developmental” match Dark and Elevation are supposed to showcase. Which, if training wrestlers and giving them “TV time”, is what the show is about, is a good thing.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brian Cage def. Tracy Williams
My Thoughts: Nice to see Brian Cage [finally] in another match on Aew programming. Interesting that, given he’s facing Wardlow for the title this week,...

Match #1: Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo def. Gpa and Laynie Luck
My Thoughts: The only thing I took away from this match was that a) I’m tired of the Sammy and Tay schtick and b) How the f*ck does that pair get three matches in two weeks whilst Eddie Kingston is stuck with one match on the All Out pre-show? Screams a desperate attempt to squash the “Sammy is har to work with” rumours Tbh.

Darby busted Brody wide open with the skateboard to the forehead. Brody King went outside to collect himself and then hurled Darby over the time keeper’s table into the steel guardrail! Darby fired back with an Avalanche Code Red on Brody King, sending Brody back into the ring. Darby tried to pull the deadweight of Brody toward the coffin, but Brody...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark. This one features seven matches filmed at Aew Universal and another overseas title defence for Pac as part of the travelling All-Atlantic Championship – something that is, right now, one of the more intriguing aspects of Aew’s championship scene.
Match #1: The Trustbusters (Ari Daivari & Slim J) def. Logan Cruz & Tyshaun Price
My Thoughts: So we’ve got The Trustbusters… I’m not convinced but I’m willing to give “Ari” and his new tag team gimmick a go. Thought they later add the debuting Parker Boudreaux to the ranks. And – if what I’ve read online is to be believed – we’ve got ourselves a faction based on the old HBO show Entourage!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Willow Nightingale def. Harley Cameron

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got the duo of Tony Schiavone and Mark Henry on commentary this week… Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Lmk
My Thoughts: Julia Hart’s transformation continues… Like last week, ere her character work was at the fore, with a determined walk to the ring, a stalking of her opponent (which I think is Really working for Hart) and a vicious streak that saw her slap the crap out of Lmk. Onwards and upwards for Hart methinks!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Leila Grey def. Jc
My Thoughts: It’s clear Aew see something in Leila Grey, given that she’s had numerous matches now And she’s been lined up as a baddie replacement on the main shows too.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got Excalibur, Caprice Coleman and Mark Henry on commentary and I’m digging the switch-ups we’ve had on the commentary team in recent weeks… Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Angelico and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) def. Ar Fox, Liam Gray and Adrian Alanis
My Thoughts: There was nothing remarkable about this match as Private Party continue to coast along and not live up to the hype of their signing back at the beginning of Aew. In fact, Private Party on Being the Elite is Better than Private Party in the ring! So in the end we get an average score for an average match.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose def. Angelica Risk...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. This time round we’ve got Tony Schiavone and Caprice Coleman on commentary (with Anthony Ogogo joining them in the later matches), which makes for a refreshing change to proceedings. Let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Emi Sakura def. Paris Van Dale
My Thoughts: Surprise, surprise. Emi Sakura finally gets to have a singles match on one of Aew’s YouTube shows. She’s been stuck in women’s tag/trios whirlygig for weeks now, so it’s weird to see her in a one-on-one match. Though this wasn’t really a match, this was a typical Aew quasi-squash, with Paris Van Dale getting a couple of big spots in – a running bulldog, a open-leg faceplant – but nothing that gave Emi anything to worry about.

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week is once again being taped at Aew Universal. We join Taz and Excalibur, commentators for Dark as usual, for eight matches and what looks, on paper, like a stacked card!
Match #1: Lee Moriarty def. Leon Ruffin
My Thoughts: Got to love a match that features two great wrestlers like Moriarty and Ruffin. This one could’ve done with a more animated and excited audience – or one that was more interested in Wrestling rather than high-flying or comedy antics. Other than that this was a solid affair with two guys who looked like they were determined to put on a great wrestling match.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Bear Country def. Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation which was filmed prior to Blood and Guts last Wednesday. We’ve got Tony Schiavone and Mark Henry on commentary and a mere six matches to cover. So let’s get to it!
Match #1: Anna Jay def. Megan Meyers
My Thoughts: Megan Meyers looks the part that’s for sure. She reminded me of Abadon but less monstrous and terrifying. She showed some promise too, taking it to Anna Jay – which means this was, you guessed it, an Aew quasi-squash match!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Best Friends def. Isaiah Broner and Gpa
My Thoughts: This was another quasi-squash with Broner and Gpa given enough room by Best Friends to put in some offence. Broner looked impressive both in size and strength whilst Gpa brought the skills. Nice to see Chuck Taylor get the pin this week too!

Match #1: Willow Nightingale def. Ashley D’Amboise
My Thoughts: Who doesn’t love the energy Willow Nightingale brings to her matches?! Her infectious attitude really raises the bar for any match she’s a part of, including this one (which is why this match gets an extra half-point just for That). Ashley D’Amboise plays a great heel too and whilst this match was too short for my liking this was still a great opener to this week’s Dark.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo vs. Matt Vandagriff & Knull
My Thoughts: Solid but forgettable is how I’d describe this match.

Welcome to this [late] review of All Elite Wrestling’s most eagerly-awaited pay per views and one that has been beset by injury issues. But we won’t let spoil our enjoyment will we?! Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation which sees the show get back to a longer card, featuring seven matches this week. We’ve got Excalibur and Mark Henry on commentary and the Dark Order in Another main event! Let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Nyla Rose def. Max the Impaler
My Thoughts: Well Max the Impaler certainly has an interesting look! Max was also a fantastic foil for Nyla, seemingly matching her beat for beat. This one could have done with more time and a not-so-quick ending. But hey ho, we’re back to quick matches packed in a short amount of time on Dark and Elevation it seems.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Private Party def. Camaro Jackson and Sk Bishop
My Thoughts: I’m not the biggest fan of Private Party but I do like it when they treat matches more seriously.

Match #1: Lance Archer vs. Aaron Solo
My Thoughts: What’s this? Solo doesn’t get thrown into the ring by Archer like most of his opponents And he manages to almost pin Archer too! Solo sold a “fear” of Archer well, trying his best to get the match over with as soon as possible. Of course that wasn’t going to work and Archer took control and got the win.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Christopher Daniels def. Steve Andrews
My Thoughts: Daniels gave Steve Andrews far too much room to get in his offence in this match. Far too much.

On commentary this week we have Paul Wight, Mark Henry And Tony Schiavone. Let’s get right into the action, which comes from the Kia Forum (aka The Forum) in Los Angeles, California.
Match #1: The Factory def. Dark Order
My Thoughts: This was a good, but not great, match. The kind of match you can watch without really paying attention to it and still know exactly what’s going on. Can’t believe Dark Order lost to The factory though, it looks like the faction are back to losing match after match, week after week. Do we need an injection of new blood into Dark Order? Probably.

Welcome to this bonus review of Aew’s special pre-ppv Saturday edition episode of Aew: Dark which usually means that either a) Aew are burning off pre-taped stuff that doesn’t fit into post-ppv storylines Or b) are building hype for said PPV. Given this episode comes from Las Vegas, I’ll bet it’s the latter… Let’s see!
Match #1: Darby Allin def. Brandon Cutler
My Thoughts: This was short and sweet, essentially a squash match-come-promo for Allin’s pay per view match against Kyle O’Reilly. Cutler stood no chance and with a few moves Allin put him away. Nice submission finish to this one – proving Allin has more in the tank than the coffin drop.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Anna Jay def. Sandra Moone
My Thoughts: Again this was something of a warm-up match for Anna Jay before her PPV match against Jade Cargill.

Well, nine from Universal… we do have a tenth match but it seems to have been filmed during a Rampage taping away from Aew Universal (was it cut from a previous episode?). Once again we’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary… Let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Max Caster def. Tyler Uriah
My Thoughts: Tyler Uriah (what a name) makes his Aew debut in a singles match against Max Caster, who’s at Aew Universal sans Anthony Bowens. Shocker! Caster even had to get an audience member to do Bowens’ part of the Acclaimed’s intro! I was expecting a squash match but Uriah actually delivered some decent offence before Caster got the pin, plus this got more time than the usual Aew squash.

She looks more badass and acts more badass, not giving Ashley D’Amboise any room to get in any offence – totally squashing her apart from D’Amboise getting in a couple of punches to the gut. We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary so let’s get right to it.
Match #1: The Factory def. Invictus Khash, Adam Priest, & Gus De La Vega
My Thoughts: Qt and co. played the big heel card in this match, with Qt himself really p*ssing off the audience in attendance. It wasn’t all about the Factory though, as Invictus Khash – who’s been tagging recently with Ariya Daivari in a couple of Dark/Elevation matches – got in some good offence and showed off the same skills that have impressed in his previous appearances for Aew. A solid start to this week’s Dark Imho.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’re back to Paul Wight and Mark Henry on commentary (with Excalibur thankfully joining them) but a bigger 9-match card this week… but still only running around 45 mins again? Let’s get right into the review and the action!
Match #1: Lee Moriarty def. Serpentico
My Thoughts: Nice to see Serpentico back in singles action and nice to Not hear too much from Luther in his corner. As I’ve said before, Serpentico is great as a singles competitor though he had some really stiff competition in Lee Moriarty, whose skill and Taiga style eventually got the better of his opponent.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Abadon def. Danni Bee
My Thoughts: Another squash match for Abadon, this time against a debuting Danni Bee. As I said last week, seeing Abadon obliterate her opponents in a solid squash is so satisfying!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, once again we’ve got Excalibur and Tony Schiavone on commentary and only a 6-match card. Let’s get right into the review… and the action!
Match #1: Nyla Rose def. Charlotte Renegade
My Thoughts: This was Nyla Rose mimicking Lance Archer’s matches and squashing Both Renegade sisters who, despite switching them switching places in the ring, couldn’t mount much offence on Rose – who ambushed them from the get-go and never let up.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Julia Hart def. Skye Blue
My Thoughts: Julia Hart goes full heel in this match against Skye Blue. About time Tbh. Playing heel allowed Hart to get more aggressive and beat up Sky Blue rather than out-wrestle her. There were a few clumsy moments but this is undoubtedly Hart’s best singles outing yet.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #3: Gunn Club def.

It’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Dark, which once again comes from Aew Universal and, surprisingly, features an appearance by the Young Bucks… On Dark?! What’s going on? The Bucks taking a walk down memory lane? Let’s take a look.
Match #1: The Young Bucks & Brandon Cutler def. Dark Order
My Thoughts: This was a great opening match with both teams looking good. Cutler did his usual goofy stuff and Still got the pin. You knew Dark Order weren’t going to win this one but Cutler getting the pin? Really?! Still, a really good match to open Dark. Still weird seeing the Bucks wrestle at Universal Studios again though…
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Ruby Soho def. Ashley D’Amboise
My Thoughts: Nice to see Ashley D’Amboise back on Aew programming and, once again, she impresses even in the loss. A typical...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which is the first of this weeks post-Revolution Aew shows and features a mere six matches in an episode that is the shortest (I think) we’ve seen in a while. We’ve also only got Paul Wight and Mark Henry on commentary this week too… Interesting. Let’s get right into the review… and the action!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Cameron Stewart
My Thoughts: Do I really need to repeat myself when it comes to Lance Archer’s matches against enhancement talent on Elevation and/or Dark? Archer drags his opponent out of the back, throws them in, and then around, the ring then gets the win. Same old, same old. Though Archer dragged this “match” out for far too long this week.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Ruby Soho vs. Session Moth Martina
My Thoughts: Nice...

It’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Dark, which once again comes from Aew: Universal. I’m always surprised by how much difference there is between Aew’s smaller Universal Studios audience and Impact’s small weekly audience. Aew still seem to make it sound like the crowd is into the action even when they’re quiet.
Match #1: Lee Johnson vs. Darian Bengston
My Thoughts: This was decidedly average. The only thing that stood out about this match was the fact the crowd were behind Darian Bengston more than they were Lee Johnson. Maybe Big Shotty needs a reboot to get over with the fans?
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Sonny Kiss def. Ashton Starr
My Thoughts: This was an example of the Aew quasi-squash match, with Starr given just enough offence to not make this a complete squash match for Sonny Kiss. Speaking of which,...

It’s Monday morning, so you know what that means… It’s time for our review of Friday night’s episode of Aew: Rampage, which emanated from the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut – just down the road from a certain other wrestling promotions headquarters! That being said, let’s get right into it!
Match #1: TNT Championship Match – Sammy Guevara def. Andrade El Idolo The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Sammy took down Andrade with a double leg. Andrade got to his feet and hit Sammy with an explosive chop! Sammy tried for the Gth but Andrade escaped. Andrade tried to shake Sammy’s hand but Sammy flipped off Andrade with the one finger salute! Sammy clotheslined Andrade, sending him over the top rope. Andrade jumped back in the ring but Sammy blasted Andrade with the Spanish Fly! Sammy attempted the double springboard into the cutter but Andrade shoved Sammy off the ropes,...

We’ve got a special Thursday night edition of Aew: Dark this week for some reason, with a swift 30+ minute run time and four solid matches. Let’s get right to it!
Match #1: Aaron Solo def. Sonny Kiss
My Thoughts: Before this episode aired on YouTube Sonny Kiss tweeted out that, essentially, this was an unmissable match. And it was. Kiss has the match under control at the outset until interference from Qt Marshall turned the tide in Solo’s favour. Got to say Marshall played the heel Really well here and the crowd were booing the hell out of him! Solo seems to have had a good spotlight in recent weeks, appearing in a number of matches and impressing in all of them, this included. Are we seeing the start of a Solo push? Or, better still, a Kiss/Solo feud?
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Abadon def.

It’s Wednesday morning so you know what that means… It’s time for our review of this weeks Aew: Dark, which this week comes from Aew Universal in Orlando, Florida. Like the show itself, let’s get right into the action!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Kelsey Heather
My Thoughts: Julia Hart continues her aggressive streak Again in this match, beating the hell out of her Kelsey Heather – an opponent who tried to trash talk too much and paid for it. Long may this streak continue as it’s certainly improved the presentation of Hart over the past few weeks. Hart ended the match with the same great-looking submission finish too!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Powerhouse Hobbs def. Gus De La Vega
My Thoughts: Hobbs laid out Vega before the bell even rang and then pummeled him around the ring in a squash match… Literally! Hobbs squashed Vega against the ropes,...
