When he was all over the news, many actresses were questioned about him, whether they were victims of his s*xual abuse. However, the Pirates of the Caribbean fame Keira Knightley once revealed that Weinstein never targeted her, and she knew that he was a womanizer.
Keira is known for her period dramas Pride & Prejudice and Atonement. She gained millions of fans after appearing as Elizabeth Swan alongside Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Keira Knightley’s slender frame, sharp features, and expressive eyes give her a stunning presence on screen. She carries herself with grace and poise, even in gritty roles.
She debuted in a major film when she was just 12 years old, playing Sabé in Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace (1999).

Knightley got big roles, but it was Pirates of the Caribbean that made her a global star. In the first movie in 2003, she played Elizabeth Swann alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
Yet, the fame wasn’t enough for the actress as she admitted to feeling “constrained” in her career after starring in the famous franchise.

Pirates of the Caribbean must have seemed like a pretty crazy idea when it was pitched back in the early 2000s. The concept of taking a theme park ride and turning it into a major blockbuster with a budget of over $100 million is the kind of thinking that probably led to the disastrous 2012 movie Battleship. Yet, the pic was a massive success, riding off its witty charm, amazing VFX and, of course, Johnny Depp’s phenomenal performance as Captain Jack Sparrow (which earned him an Oscar nod).
Of course, sequels were ordered up pretty quickly, resulting in the back-to-back filming of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. While receiving lower reviews than the first outing, each movie still stuck to the same task of expanding the world/mythology of the pirates and continuing the story of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan.
