MTV Entertainment Studios and Showtime’s creative leadership teams are merging, with four more executives being laid off as the latter company’s upcoming consolidation with Paramount+ looms. Nina L. Diaz and Keith Cox will take on expanded roles as chief creative officer/president of content and president of scripted for Showtime/Mtves, respectively, reporting to Chris McCarthy.
News of the restructuring quickly follows McCarthy’s announcement earlier on Monday that Showtime co-presidents of entertainment Gary Levine and Jana Winograde’s roles would be eliminated; the former executive will take on a senior creative advisor role at the cable-streamer, while Winograde was let go as her position was consolidated. The shake-ups are a result of the larger ramifications of Showtime’s upcoming integration with Paramount+ later this year.

Just after 7 p.m. inside Neuehouse Hollywood on Tuesday, Mike Judge took the microphone and started offering a series of thank you’s to the team that helped him bring knuckleheads Beavis and Butt-Head back to the screen in the pair’s first movie since 1996.
He took a brief detour after mentioning the first two names on his list — Paramount Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios Chris McCarthy and Paramount Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios chief operating officer Keyes Hill-Edgar — to detail a key lunch meeting they had right before the pandemic struck that led to this installment, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe.

“The Other Two” duo of Drew Tarver and Heléne Yorke are back! The series, focused on the lives of brother and sister Cary and Brooke Dubek, is moving from its original home on Comedy Central over to the HBO Max streaming service. The first trailer for Season 2 dropped and, dare we say, Cary and Brooke might be acting a little bit more mature than they once were?
The comedy follows Cary and Brooke who are the “other two” older siblings of superstar Chase Dubek (Case Walker). Unfortunately, Cary and Brooke are still having a hard time breaking into the industry; the former looks to be hosting a digital E! series while the latter is participating in her mom Pat’s (Molly Shannon) new talk show.
