Chris Tzorin, the 37-year-old professional chef from Orange County, California was eliminated in 10th place on Thursday’s episode of “Next Level Chef.” Despite Team Gordon Ramsay cooking in the top kitchen, Chris struggled to find the ingredients for a Next Level pizza and found himself up for elimination against Team Nyesha Arrington‘s Mada Abdelhamid. Watch his exclusive video interview with Gold Derby above.
“O.M.G.!” Chis exclaims while recalling the excruciating pizza challenge. “I went in with full confidence, especially after the last two rounds. I was ready to go! Once I grabbed that dough, everything was going so quick, I think I was overconfident. Then Gordon Ramsay says, ‘Why did you grab biscuit dough?’ It threw me off. I have biscuit dough! I know you can’t make pizza with biscuit dough.”
Chris admits being Gordon’s top draft pick put a lot of pressure on him.

Lauren Smith, the 36-year-old home cook from Santa Monica, California was eliminated in 11th place on Thursday’s episode of “Next Level Chef.” Despite Team Richard Blais cooking in the top kitchen, Lauren struggled to find the ingredients she needed on the platform and found herself up for elimination against Team Nyesha Arrington‘s Mada Abdelhamid. Watch her exclusive video interview with Gold Derby above.
“It was just a bad grab,” she tells Gold Derby. “I grabbed that bell pepper and I just didn’t know what to do with it. I didn’t grab enough. Also, just the pressure of being in the top kitchen. We were used to the ‘Blaisment.’ I was comfortable down there.”

Even superheroes can get stuck in an elevator!
Jason Momoa found himself in a crowded elevator for two hours with his dog, Rama, and friends, including Mada Abdelhamid, who trained him for Game of Thrones and threw him a surprise birthday party in July.
The actor, 40, didn’t seem to mind too much as he recorded himself and his friends on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
“Well, what’s going on, big nasty?” Momoa said to Abdelhamid, who explained they were hungry and unable to get out. “We’re stuck on an elevator. Fire department really doesn’t want to show up.

Jason Momoa has no time for body shamers.
TMZ caught up with the Aquaman star, who was shamed by Internet trolls after he was photographed stepping out shirtless in Venice, Italy last month.
When asked if he was offended by the comments about his “dad bod,” the actor — who celebrates his 40th birthday on Thursday — responded in good spirits, “No, not at all.”
“Tell TMZ I’ll show you my dad bod soon enough,” he added jokingly.

Jason Momoa received a very special — and heartfelt — surprise.
The Aquaman star, who turns 40 on August 1, was greeted by close friends at a surprise birthday party they threw him days before his birthday.
Momoa’s friend Mada Abdelhamid, who also trained the actor for his role as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, organized the surprise and filmed it for the actor’s YouTube page.
“Right now we made up some stupid excuse for him to leave. He really doesn’t need to leave,” Mada said of Momoa’s autograph signing. “All his friends all said they’re busy, they’re not in town.
