George Kottaridis was born in Kalamata, Messinia, Greece. He discovered his love for acting at an early age, participating in annual stage productions throughout elementary and high school, as well as being a member of the Messinian Amateur Theatre in his hometown.
Later, he was accepted by the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television, the National Conservatoire of Scotland, and the University of the Highlands and Islands to study acting. However, George couldn't afford the cost of studies, so he postponed acting plans and joined the Navy. After several years of a successful career, George resigned and relocated to the Bahamas, which gave him time to pursue his dream. Meanwhile, he began taking acting lessons and joined acting workshops for screen and theater in the USA. Successful theatrical exposure gave him a step up to go to the next level. He played lead roles in a series of stage plays that made him the best newcomer actor and helped him earn the audience's attention and recognition. This dynamic entry brought commercials, short films, and feature films, giving him a step up to go to the next level. After a few years in the country, he relocated to Glasgow and kept working hard. He also finished the two-year acting course at the UK Screen Acting Academy. After a successful career in the arts field, he returned to the Bahamas and was invited to Bassa. An Artist Guild Association to join the board among the founding members. George also works as a fight choreographer and stunt performer for films, a role based on his experience of over 31 years in martial arts in several combat styles and his extensive knowledge based on his career in the Naval Forces. He also follows several acting coaching sessions, seminars, and stunt workshops, working with established professionals at stunt schools as Kansai action actors and the Film Forge of NU Boyana Film Studios. George also admires indie films, and in 2018, he made his first steps in screenwriting and film development alongside an American screenwriter and an executive producer, making him able to fully develop a feature film. Lately, he is making his first steps in directing, and he is the owner and CEO of Bravesthorse Entertainment, a production company based in Glasgow, UK, shared with his business partner and COO Aris Gavriilidis.
