Finneas has shared a new version of his song “I Lost a Friend,” remixed by Marian Hill. It dropped Thursday at midnight. The track originally appeared on Finneas’ Blood Harmony Ep.
Where the original features a contemplative piano melody, the remix opens with his emotive vocals at the fore, which also get some remix manipulations on the harmonies, and the beats and atmospheric touches lightly buoy his refrains.
Earlier this month, the 22-year-old singer and producer received five nominations at the 2020 Grammy Awards, including the award for Producer of the Year,...

She may have once been a member of Fifth Harmony, but now Lauren Jauregui is poised to be the next big thing as a solo artist. The 23-year-old hottie has already collaborated on songs with Marian Hill, Steve Aoki, and Halsey, and as much as we miss Fifth Harmony, we can't wait to see what she does next. Besides being totally talented and refreshingly outspoken, Lauren is also a certified sex pot; and while that's certainly not the only reason why we love her, it doesn't hurt that she's pretty easy on the eyes. Just look at the sexiest pics of Lauren of all time to see what we mean.

Lauren Jauregui is ready to step out on her own, but on a night in early October, she’s preparing herself to step in front of her fans and debut her first official solo song and video following Fifth Harmony’s hiatus.
“I’m excited! I’m so excited,” she repeats, already dressed up for her video’s private fan screening at Angelika Film Center in New York. “I’m so ready for people to hear it.”
Once work with the X-Factor-formed girl group wrapped earlier this year, she began recording.

Songs For Screens is a Variety column written by Andrew Hampp, a VP at New York-based music sponsorship and experiential agency Mac Presents and former branding correspondent for Billboard. Each week, the column will highlight noteworthy use of music in advertising and marketing campaigns, as well as new and catalog songs that we deem ripe for synch use.
Like most artists who’ve been synched by Apple, Jack Stratton found out his band Vulfpeck’s song “Back Pocket” had been used in a cinematic new spot for Apple at the same time as the rest of the world, upon its debut on March 22. But the song wasn’t just featured: his band had struck the holy grail of synchs, a song featured in a minute-long prime-time commercial for Apple, with a creative concept tailored specifically to the song’s swaggering, blue-eyed soul groove and staccato chorus.

Fifth Harmony recently surprised their fans by announcing their official hiatus as a group in order to pursue solo projects. That means Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei and already-gone-solo former member Camila Cabello will be on their own. So who will have the most successful solo career? We asked our readers, and a majority of them (58%) said it would be Cabello. Scroll down to see the complete poll results at the bottom of this post.
To be fair to her former band mates, Cabello had already gone solo, so we don’t need to imagine what her solo career might look like. She left the group in December 2016, and since then she released a number-one single, “Havana” with Young Thug, and a number-one album, “Camila.” So at the moment she’s the benchmark against which the other four members will be compared.
But the music business can be unpredictable,...

Miss movin' on! Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui posed for Playboy following the band's recent split and gave her fans an inside look at what really went on during the early stages with the girl group as well as what she's going to do in the future. Watch the video and check out her flawless photo shoot! Now that Lauren is finally breaking out of her Fifth Harmony shell, she told the publication just how hard it was to live up to a certain image in the past that was actually put in place by a record label. "When you’re really disconnected from who you are and you’re ashamed of it, you can write and tell a story, but you can never really tell your story," she shared. "That's what separates a lot of artists from others — the connection." A post shared by laurenjauregui (@laurenjauregui) on Mar 23, 2018 at...

Dancing With the Stars' Trio Night was full-on fun!
With special appearances from past winners, like reigning mirrorball champion Rashad Jennings and season one winner Kelly Monaco, there was a tremendous amount of talent in the ballroom during week eight of the dance competition show.
Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to one dancing duo -- Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke -- before the five other couples were announced that they'd be advancing to next week's semi-finals.
Now, Et's breaking down all the memorable choreography moments from last night's performances!

Victoria Arlen's Dancing With the Stars journey hit a painful bump in the road when she found herself in agony hours before the live show.
During dress rehearsal for Monday's quarterfinals, Arlen and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, were practicing their Argentine tango when the former Paralympic athlete suffered a painful spasm in her ribs.
"A spasm is just, like, the worst pain known to man. It's like an extreme form of paralysis," Arlen told the DWTS cameras in a behind-the-scenes look at the frightening incident, which aired before the couple took the stage.
The pain and fear were particularly potent for Arlen, whose participation in this season of the reality dancing competition is nothing short of a miracle.
