Exclusive: Amazon Studios is getting its engines revved up on a new romantic comedy set in the world of NASCAR with a list of top tier talent on board to help take this project across the finish line. Sources tell Deadline, Westbrook Studios will partner with The Chainsmokers’ Kick The Habit Productions and NASCAR to produce the upcoming romantic comedy feature, Clean Air for Amazon Studios with Younger writer Alison Rose Greenberg set to write the screenplay.
Producers include Will Smith and Jon Mone for Westbrook Studios, with Heather Washington executive producing. Dan Marcus will also produce via Kick the Habit Productions, with Drew Taggart, Alex Pall and Adam Alpert executive producing. Matt Summers and Tim Clark will also executive produce for NASCAR.

Snowfall co-creator Eric Amadio has teamed up with pop group The Chainsmokers and professional skateboarder Nyjah Huston on skateboarding drama Hardflip for Quibi.
The short-form digital platform, which launches on April 6, is working with wiip and Kick the Habit Productions, the production company set up by Chainsmokers Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, on the series.

2016 may have proven the electronic music landscape rockier than entertainment moguls had realized, but Billboard hasn’t written it off as a bygone era quite yet. The publication has released its 3rd annual power list of DJs and executives, declaring the likes of deadmau5, Jono Grant, Neil Moffitt and Russell Faibisch to be among its most influential figures.
The list is divided between the headings “Artists,” “Live,” “Gatekeepers” and “Managers,” with Diplo, Pasquale Rotella, Julie Adunega/Zane Lowe and Adam Alpert at the top of each respective category. Strangely, Billboard included all but Rotella for their influence in the realm of music releases – even though the electronic music is largely a live music-driven industry.
