Daniil Piispanen is an Estonian-Swedish actor, writer and director known for directing the short films Poor Animals (2018) and Forgive Me, Mom! (2016). He has acted in shorts and features including: The Most Important Film Ever Made: The Making of A One Crow World (2020), The Innocent Can Never Walk Free (2017), Clank: Red Mosaic (2017) and Cold Words (2019). In 2016 he received the "Best Drama Short" award at Botkyrkas Film Festival. In 2018 he received the award of "Honorable Mention - Best Narrative Short" at the Los Angeles Film Awards.
