Christopher Hutcherson

Christopher L. Hutcherson was born into a strong, Christian home in the small town of Geneva, Alabama. He discovered an exceptional aptitude for writing, wordplay, and performance at the young age of 8. Fortunately, his parents recognized this rare talent and actively encouraged Chris to continue developing his writing and lyrical skills. They also engaged him in numerous church activities and plays to cultivate his creativity.
In 2004, at the age of 21, Chris completely surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, vowing to use his God-given abilities and charisma as a method in presenting the gospel. In 2010, Chris was cast in the role of Frank for his first independent film, Writing Christmas Cool. Soon afterwards, he was introduced to the South East Alabama Community Theatre. To date, Chris has been enthusiastically involved in four of their theatrical productions:
SEACT's Boys Next Door (2012)-winner of Best Supporting Actor SEACT's Driving Miss Daisy (2013)-nominated for Best Actor SEACT's The Drowsy Chaperone (2014) SEACT's Dearly Departed (2015)

In addition, Chris was presented with the extraordinary opportunity to be a background actor in the award-winning historical drama, Selma, released in 2015. With a passion for both the stage and film, Chris continues to refine his craft. He looks forward to enlightening and entertaining audiences through his memorable performances.
