Maureen co-wrote and co-produced the feature film Welcome to Nowhere. She wrote two additional feature films, both female-led action comedies, and the pilot for a half hour comedy with her writing partner. She is developing a number of series including writing the pilot for a dramatic comedy.
Maureen started her career as a theatre director and was mentored by Canadian award winning playwright George F. Walker. She has directed and produced over 20 plays in Toronto, New York and London, UK.
With over 15 years of experience working on the business side of film and television, she brings a unique perspective to the creative process. She has held senior leadership positions at Toronto International Film Festival, Salter Street Films and IFC Canada.
Born and raised in Toronto, Maureen has lived in London, New York, and Shanghai. She relocated to the US in 2019 with her husband and three children.
