Joshua Jorgensen grew up in Windsor, Ontario fishing on the Great Lakes for bass, muskie, pike and other freshwater species. He has been fishing since the age of three and his passion continues to grow. In 2003, Josh was introduced to the world of saltwater fishing. He was hooked! In 2008, Josh studied physics at Wayne State University and worked as a research assistant for Smart Sensors and Integrated Microsystems (SSIM). In 2011, he moved to Florida to study Web Design and Development at Full Sail University. Josh now resides in North Palm Beach with his wife Kaylin and together they have two beautiful baby girls. They enjoy every aspect of Florida life, which includes: fishing, boating, camping and other outdoor activities. The incredible success of Josh comes from his passion for fishing. Ever since he was a young boy casting a line in the water off his back dock, he's dreamed of being on top of the fishing world. His love for fishing has made his dreams come true and he continues to dazzle his audience with the most exciting fishing content in the world. Josh continues to set himself apart and keeps you hanging on the edge of your seat with his high-risk daredevil actions that have been compared to Steve Irwin (aka The Crocodile Hunter). Josh Jorgensen and BlacktipH® come highly recommended and have been selected exclusively to work with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in their ongoing task to tag and track certain species of fish around the world including sharks, so they can monitor and research their habitat and migration. Josh and BlacktipH® work with hundreds of affiliates around the world, his highly viewed channel and his wide range audience has limitless possibilities. Josh is a true ambassador for the sport of fishing and is directly engaged with his audience every day.
