The music of Galya Bisengalieva is deep and atmospheric. The Kazakh-British composer and violinist centres unyielding drones as she weaves across genres like folk, ambient, classical, and electronic music. Galya's solos and improvisations can be heard on numerous soundtracks including The Mauritanian (2021), Honey Boy (2019), The Two Popes (2019), Suspiria (2018) and You Were Never Really Here (2017). She has also toured key solos for live productions of Phantom Thread, Under the Skin, The Piano and There Will Be Blood. Galya leads the London Contemporary Orchestra and studied at the Royal Academy of Music.
