Fabeeha K. Lodhi was always told she thought differently.
Filmmaking for her is more than storytelling. "It's Magic", she says. Born and raised in Sharjah, U.A.E; art has always played a major part in her life. She aims to integrate feelings, details and events into her production that people usually overlook in their daily lives.
In 2015, at one screening, she spoke about the collapse and revival of Pakistani cinema and requested her university; Multi Media University, Malaysia, to include Pakistani films on their foreign film shelves.
She produced a short film "Release from Remorse" as her final year thesis, which won the award for best Final Year Project in MMU Faculty of Cinema Art, Malaysia. She also produced a short time-travel film "Nine10", which won second place in the Astro Vaanavil competition, Malaysia.
During the 2020 pandemic, she partnered with the NHL player Joe Veleno to help raise awareness and donations for mental health in Montreal, Canada.
