In the Season 5 finale of “FBI: Most Wanted,” agent Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) marries girlfriend Cora (Caroline Harris) in the first wedding for the series’ history.
After mad bombers, a cannibalistic serial killer and Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) getting shot in the line of duty, the season ended on a high — and very jubilant — note.
Hodge spoke with TheWrap about why he loves the Ray and Cora relationship, how it changes his dynamic as a character and his own upcoming wedding.
TheWrap: It’s the first wedding in “FBI: Most Wanted” history.
Edwin Hodge: No pressure. Yeah, no pressure at all. Especially since I’m about to get married on June 29. And my TV wife (Caroline Harris) got married prior to us actually filming the wedding scene.
Are you going to have a big contingent of your costars at your wedding?
Keisha [Castle-hughes] is going to be able to make it.

I think you’re going to get a taste of what it’s like for Ray to actually have to make these decisions as a family man now. And the case married with this beautiful wedding, I think, will leave the audiences waiting for next season.” In talking to Cora about what’s going on, “he’s got to...

As much as we’d love to see an FBIs crossover wedding—John Boyd and Shantel VanSanten are now on different shows, with Nina now part of the Fugitive Task Force on Most Wanted, so it could happen!—that’s not what’s in store for one of the spinoffs this spring. Because while VanSanten did tease to TV Insider, “There’s some bells on the horizon for some lucky winner in the finale of Most Wanted,” she wasn’t talking about her own character. Rather, as CBS’ official description of the finale, “Powderfinger,” airing May 21, reveals, it’s Ray (Edwin Hodge) who will be preparing to celebrate a major life milestone with his wedding to Cora (Caroline Harris) approaching. As for the case, the team will be busy racing to catch the culprit threatening Manhattan with a dirty bomb. Let’s hope that doesn’t interfere with the wedding!

In Tuesday night’s episode of “FBI: Most Wanted,” Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) used his “Southern charm” to get things done when three prosecutors were gunned down in a small town in Arkansas. After Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott) didn’t have time to get answers from a tight-lipped waitress who may have seen the suspects in the triple homicide, Ray stepped in and, between ordering some down home country food, got the information they needed.
Ray, who’s the newest addition to the Fugitive Task Force, takes the job seriously, but his dedication to justice also led him to intervene when he saw a single mom and her son being kicked out of their apartment in the episode.
Hodge talked to TheWrap about how his character is settling in with the team and why he’s driven to go the extra mile.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI: Most Wanted Season 4 Episode 8 “Appeal.”] FBI: Most Wanted delved into the newest member of the Fugitive Task Force, Special Agent Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) in its fall finale, “Appeal.” On the way to work with Hana Gibson (Keisha Castle-Hughes), Ray noticed a woman, Cora (Caroline Harris), arguing with her landlord after he’d raised her rent by 2,000, despite her and her son Caleb (Ja’Siah Young) being model tenants for four years. She didn’t have the money, but while she had five days left on her lease, he was already showing her apartment to prospective tenants. It stuck with him, even as the Fugitive Task Force worked a case, though he wasn’t sure about letting Hana do some digging into the landlord. But armed with the knowledge that the landlord would be facing time in prison if he called friends at the IRS, Ray was able to negotiate a new ...

Fortunately for Cora, the right person sees that disagreement on the street, because if there’s anyone you want to help out, it’s an FBI agent, especially one who has a certain skilled computer expert as not only a teammate but roommate as well. “With a little help from Hana,...
