Justin Sirkin is a writer, director, and producer from the San Fernando Valley. He was born in 2001 and attended California State University, Northridge where he studied Film Production. He is of Ashkenazi Jewish and Iranian descent.
In 2023, Sirkin wrote and directed his short dark comedy film Reseda (2023) which won the Programmer's Prize at the 2023 Sherman Oaks Film Festival. He is part of the "Letterboxd generation". His work has been featured both nationally and internationally garnering attention in the generation z independent film scene. His work often features a mix of genre blending, dark humor, and morally ambiguous characters.
Sirkin has a number of influences on his films including: Quentin Tarantino, Richard Linklater, Larry David, Donald Glover, Kevin Smith, and George Lucas.
