When Evil Season 4 premieres in May, fans will be hoping for a resolution to a whole host of questions raised at the end of Evil Season 3.
While some will be answered at the outset, more questions will arise to intrigue us throughout the show's run.
As all good things must come to an end, we know that this will be the last outing of this crazy, mind-bending show we've come to love.
Most seasons have contained ten episodes, so it will be a treat to have four bonus episodes, which Robert and Michelle King are touting as a mini-season to finish out the story.
But how will it end? And with the news that Netflix will soon begin airing various seasons, would Evil be well-served by being "saved" by the streamer?

Robert and Michelle King's "Evil" is one of the best shows of the streaming era, and one of the best horror TV shows of all time, period (as determined by us). The tale of a team of researchers working for the Catholic Church to investigate supernatural events is a bit like "Law & Order" meets "Hannibal," but with the world-building and expansive story involving demonic conspiracies of the underrated "The Exorcist" TV show. After three wonderful, scary, funny seasons, "Evil" is coming to an end with its fourth and final season, which premieres May 23, 2024, on Paramount+.
The third season of "Evil" ended with the big reveal of Kristen discovering her missing egg (a lingering mystery from all the way back in season 1) has been fertilized ... with Leland's child. British director and screenwriter who enjoyed huge success with his 1987 hit film Wish You Were Here
Grittiness and compassion were the twin hallmarks of the writer and director David Leland, who has died aged 82. He scripted a clutch of uncompromising films that launched the screen careers of Cathy Tyson, Emily Lloyd and Tim Roth. Leland’s writing was distinctly British in flavour but without the parochial sensibility that might have limited its appeal.
His early draft of Mona Lisa (1986), an underworld thriller about the relationship between a sex worker (Tyson) and her driver (Bob Hoskins), was tougher and nastier than the finished film. Leland shared the screenplay credit with its Irish director, Neil Jordan.

From Wish You Were Here to Mona Lisa and The Big Man, he was determined to shine a light on those marginalised in society albeit using his quirky sense of humour
David Leland was a master of understatement with a social conscience and wildly wicked sense of humour, arising like his friends the Pythons from our everyday humdrum British universe in the 60s and 70s.
More than 40 years ago I saw the astonishing Made in Britain. The film that made Tim Roth – who played a violent skinhead – a star, was written by Leland for the producer and director Alan Clarke. It was a a biting attack on rightwing Thatcherite policies and it is just as relevant to today’s brutal system.

More than 13 years ago, the world said goodbye to Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) after eight seasons on the USA Network. Monk is a genius detective riddled with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and dozens of phobias. And yet, these very qualities make him such an astute investigator — "It's a gift and a curse." Now, fans get one more sample of Monk's gift with a follow-up movie, "Mr. Monk's Last Case." The film is not a "legacy sequel" as is the trend these days, but a classical post-series TV reunion movie. It's not just the main cast that returns either, but "Monk" co-creators Andy Breckmann and David Hoberman and prolific series director Randy Zisk. The reunion feels complete because of it, since their presence means the storytelling of "Mr. Monk's Last Case" feels like, well, "Monk."

A little over six months ago, Gwyneth Paltrow — an actress who has won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and an Emmy (an Eggo?) — won one whole dollar in a civil suit against a retired optometrist who collided with her while skiing. The prize was the result of a surreal two-week trial that stopped just short of a cause célèbre due to the meme-ably absurd nature of how it unfolded. Now, all of the proceedings’ head-scratching moments (like when Paltrow joked with opposing counsel that she’s shrinking and all that...

Gwyneth Paltrow may have lost half a day of skiing, but she’s gained a musical based on her recent courtroom adventure.
A London theatre has announced Gwyneth Goes Skiing, a satire musical based on the actress and wellness guru’s 2016 ski slope collision with a retired optometrist and subsequent 2023 courtroom battle, where she successfully defended herself against a lawsuit.
Reads the musical’s official description on the Pleasance Theatre site: “She’s the Goop-founding, Door-Sliding, Shakespeare-In-Loving, consciously-uncoupling Hollywood superstar. He’s a retired Optometrist from Utah. In 2016, they went skiing. On the slopes of Deer Valley, their worlds collided, and so did they – literally. Ouch. Seven years later in 2023, they went to court. Double ouch. This is their story. Kind of. Not really. But also, it’s at Christmas.”
The audience will also get to serve as the jury and help decide Paltrow’s legal fate.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow‘s legal battle with a skiing optometrist has got the musical treatment. ‘Gwyneth Goes Skiing’ is set to debut in London this December. Linus Karp will star as Paltrow while Terry Sanderson, the optometrist who collided with her on a Utah ski slope in 2016, is played by Joseph Martin, reports Variety. The show features original music by singer and songwriter Leland.
‘Gwyneth Goes Skiing’ is based on the court trial between Paltrow and Sanderson that took place earlier this year.
As per Variety, Sanderson filed suit against the ‘Sliding Doors’ star after their collision, claiming he was left with a concussion, four broken ribs and a brain injury. He originally sought $3.1 million in compensation. Paltrow, who said Sanderson was the one who had skied into her, counter-sued for $1 and attorney fees.

Comedian Matt Rogers was stoned, wandering the streets of New York City, reeling from a bad breakup, and trying desperately to unlock the lyrics of a song steeped in this heartbreak — that also had to fit on his Christmas album. He had the start of a hook (“Go get everything you want…”) and a core idea, hoping his ex will get everything he wants in life, even if Rogers won’t be the one to provide it. But that was it.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the When Calls the Heart Season 10 finale “Starry Nights.”] Was the most surprising part of the end of When Calls the Heart Season 10 the fact that the love triangle of Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), Lucas (Chris McNally), and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) has seemingly been reignited or whose house Henry (Martin Cummins) shows up at at the end of the finale? With the baptism of Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Leland’s (Kavan Smith) daughter Goldie approaching, the two have to name her godparents. Elizabeth, is, of course, going to be godmother, but their pick for godfather isn’t quite so sure he’s up to the task: Henry. As Leland points out, he’s good with kids and is wiser because of his troubles. Maybe with Goldie in his life, he’ll be less cantankerous. When Leland approaches Henry about being Goldie’s godfather, Henry is honored but can’t help but think...

Aaron Eckhart stars in the 2023 crime thriller Muzzle as Jake Rosser, a disgruntled police officer in charge of a K9 dog named Ace. Directed by John Stalberg Jr., the movie runs for 1 hour and 39 minutes and is more-or-less an entertaining watch that explores how people deal with the loss of creatures who are extremely close to them. There aren’t too many movies of this sub-genre, and were it not for a few errors and slightly underwhelming script, this movie would have won many accolades. Here’s a detailed summary and ending of the 2023 crime thriller, Muzzle.

What Happens To Ace?
Muzzle opens with Officer Jake Rosser driving around the more rundown parts of LA in his car, along with his most trusted companion, Ace, a German shepherd. Jake is a part of the K9 unit, and Ace seems to be his best friend and partner in the line of duty,...

Without a doubt, When Calls the Heart Season 10 Episode 4 is the best episode of the season so far, and it might go down as one of the series' best.
Rosemary and Leland have waited so long for a child. They'd nearly given up, and when they stopped wishing, their little miracle arrived.
With "Great Expectations," the town rallies around Rosemary, allaying her fears and reinforcing what the town does best -- caring for one another.
Rosemary Coulter has an unbelievable flair for the dramatic, and she's brought Lee around to her way of thinking.
As her due date came and went, they could think of nothing else but the baby and everything they might have done wrong to ward off the little one from making their debut, healthy and happy.
In other words, they were normal parents-to-be.

Coming to us from Gun Interactive (developer of the Friday the 13th game) and Sumo Digital - Nottingham, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game manages to appeal to so many, with very little variety. Oddly, the lack of variation is okay. At least for now, I can’t stop playing it. Playing this game is like playing a very dangerous version of Manhunt or Hide and Seek with your neighbors when you were a kid - just add in a few deranged psychopaths and a chainsaw.
Before you even jump into a match, you are graced with an eerie narration of a bit of history regarding the horrors that are to come. That, paired with the music and art of the homescreen, impeccably prepares you for the type of game you are about to load into. The first sign that The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is committed above all else to channeling the spirit of Tobe Hooper’s landmark horror film is the spelling of the titular weapon. Start the game and you’ll be treated to narration over scrolling text reminiscent of the 1974 film’s opening, and from there it’s time to choose to play as either a member of the cannibalistic Sawyer family or one of their teenage prey. Each match takes place in one of three locations pivotal to the film, including a loving recreation of the horrifying Sawyer residence, where the teens must work together to evade and escape the family, lest they become dinner.

Die Hard is an unquestioned action masterpiece. Thanks to revelatory performances by both Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman, plus John McTiernan’s assured direction, Die Hard still has the power to awe and entertain even decades after its release. Few can say the same about the sequels, but what about the Die Hard prequel, The Detective?
Oh, you’ve never heard of a Die Hard prequel? Well, that could be because the 1968 Frank Sinatra vehicle The Detective is based on the 1966 novel by the same name, written by Roderick Thorp. And in 1979, Thorp published a sequel to The Detective called Nothing Lasts Forever, in which criminals led by a man called Gruber take control of a Los Angeles high-rise during a company party. Gruber even holds hostage the family member of a hero cop who must go rogue upstairs if he is going to thwart the terrorists. Also it’s Christmas time.

Shane Atkinson’s debut sets itself in the ever-so-small town of Laroy. Ray (John Magaro) is a man living the simple life, married to the local beauty-pageant queen and working at his family’s hardware store alongside his brother, Junior (Matthew Del Negro). He’s not unhappy, but not quite happy either. His existence depends on raising enough money for his wife Stacy-Lynn (Megan Stevenson) to open a salon. Her happiness results in his own happiness. Unfortunately, she’s not happy––at least not with Ray.
An unabashed quasi-homage to the Coen brothers, Laroy concerns a case of mistaken identity. Ray happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, and so when he’s assumed to be a hitman he obliges. As the confusion and dead bodies begin stacking up, Ray and his friend-turned-private eye Skip (Steve Zahn) must solve the plethora of crimes that lay in their wake.
