- Paul R. Cruz, born in New York, NY to Puerto Rican-American parents. In high school Paul studied drama, film, and wrote and produced amateur films, as well as editing home videos as a hobby. After graduating High School in 2003, he worked as the Manager of a Video Store and studied Film Writing at Miami-Dade College. In 2004, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving consecutive overseas assignments in Europe, Hawaii, and Combat Service in Iraq 2008. In 2012, he transitioned to the US Army Reserves and began working at various agencies in the Intelligence Community in Washington D.C. In 2013, he started his own company, providing defense and intelligence consultation and information security to the national defense industry. In 2016, he turned his attention to his true creative calling and began writing again.
