- Melek Karakus is an Australian-born Turkish writer, actress, dancer, and producer. Melek wrote and produced the short film 'Child Magical' which was an Offical Selection for Dances with Films Film Festival and Big Apple Film Festival and starred in the feature film 'Catalyst' playing 'Somayeh' which premiered at Regal Cinemas at LA Live and won best cinematography and best ensemble cast at the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles.
Off-screen, Melek has performed at the iconic Sydney Opera House in the play 'Oneness' by Australian playwright Alex Broun and toured as the dance ensemble cast with Cirque Du Soleil's 'Le-Noir'.
