The Shaitan & David director Bejoy Nambiar’s ‘Dange’ is a dark students’ saga set in Goa. The narrative is a cross between college students conflicts within and outside. Dange begins with a promising scene when a sloshed Zeel (Harshvardhan Rane) rushes to present his paper the 4th time, with great help from his friends but fails to make it even after standing in front of the professors due to his imbalanced mental condition.
Dange is primarily about Zeel and Yuva (Ehan Bhat) who were best (childhood) friends but one incidence sours their friendship; Yuva faces molestation and humiliation for which he blames Zeel, now his senior in the college. Yuva is deeply affected by the incident. There is also Gayatri (T J Bhanu) seeking justice for a young Dalit student who was raped and impregnated. Yuva and Zeel, driven by their own conflicts, eventually realize a greater threat when they overhear plans to harm Gayatri.

March 2024 Box Office Expectations Do Not Bring Hope Despite Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan & Siddharth Malhotra Arriving. (Photo Credit – IMDb/Instagram)
The year 2024 has offered us 8 Hindi films in the theaters, and now March 2024 is ready with as many as 12 Hindi releases in the theater. However, are these 12 films a hope for a March 2024 box office boom? Certainly not. However, the month definitely has a mixed bag with some unpredictable and dicey moves.
The only thing that might be certain is that March 2024 will perform better than March 2023 at the box office. Last year, the films released in the third month earned a total of 260.59 crores, and this month, the 12 films in total are targetting somewhere around the same number, but only in one condition – if word of mouth acts like a charm for some films.

Actress Khushalii Kumar’s film ‘Starfish’ featuring actors Tusharr Khanna, Milind Soman, and Ehan Bhat has released its new wedding song ‘Madhaniyan’ with a music video.
While the song harbours the full spirit of a happy wedding, the video is anything but celebrations as Khushalii is reluctantly smiling at her own wedding with Tusharr, missing her actual lover played by Ehan.
Rather painful to watch, the music video contradicts its entire festive, jovial, and celebratory mood as the passionate singing of Manan Bharadwaj which really brings in the wedding spirit, matches the song perfectly but in a unique contrast.
Essaying the character of Tara, Khushalii’s wedding partner Tusharr, who plays ‘Aman-Mr. Righteous’, and his entire family are smiling and dancing in joyful celebrations, but Tara is forcefully and reluctantly smiling as she deeply misses her rebel-style lover Neil while Aman is the exact opposite of her personality.
Still undergoing the wedding processions,...

Mumbai, Nov 17 (Ians) Actress Khushalii Kumar, who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Starfish’, has shared her experience of shooting the climax of the film which took a toll on her.
In the film, Khushalii essays the role of a certified commercial diver, and climax witnesses her character overdosing on drugs. For her, not just shooting, but preparing for the scene was tough too.
She shared that the film has a one minute-long cut where in reality she had performed for over four minutes at a stretch as she was so intensely captured by the scene. It took a great deal of time for her to prepare for this scene, since in real life, Khushalii does not consume substances.
Even after the scene was shot, it took her a certain time to get out of that zone, and it was quite an overwhelming experience for her.

Broken But Beautiful series
Starring Siddharth Shukla, Sonia Rathee, Ehan Bhat
Directed by Priyanka Ghose
The Broken But Beautiful series—I don’t think it can be called a franchise—is all about falling in love with the wrong person to a degree of utter self-annihilation. This idea was explored with some amount sensitivity in the previous season where Harleen Sethi kept obsessing over a man who dumped her while Vikrant Massey waited his turn.
Now it’s Siddharth Shukla’s turn to “fall” so hard and deep into the bottomless pit of love that he can’t see his own ego any longer. It’s a challenging role for a semi-newcomer. Shukla gives his best shot, exposing his arrogant theatre-director Agastya’s character’s vulnerable side, pleading and begging in love(watch him struggle with his conflicted emotions in the big confrontation sequence in episode 6) as mid-way through the...

"'Kya kiya hain tune' speaks of the absolute magic that love contains -- to transform, evolve and liberate. It speaks of a person who stepped out once again into the world of love, hoping to not be hurt by love and met with this feeling, with an utmost sense of liberation. It's finding love post breakup, and sometimes you meet people who make you love yourself, that is true love, a love to keep forever," he said.
Amaal gushed with praise while opening up on his co-singer, "Words fall short of how seamlessly Palak Muchhal renders the emotion.

99 Songs
Starring Ehan Bhat as Jay, Edilsy Vargas as Sophie
Written & Directed by Vishwesh Krishnamurthy
Make no mistake. This is a highly ambitious film where the musical phenomenon A R Rahman wants to prove to the world that music can conquer hearts, change the world, and reform corrupt politicians. Just how this Rahman-helmed love story gets there, is a mystery. The plot is a befuddling brew of Mills & Boon , mysticism, and of course music.
I don’t know if the film has 99 songs. But there is one after every 5-10 minutes. And the film is 2 hours and 12 minutes long. So do your math while the film’s hero Jai(a striking debut by Ehan Bhat) journeys from innocent romance in the city to a jazz-swathed club called Red Mascara in Shillong where Lisa Ray slithering and seducing poor Jai away from the love of his life Sophie(Edilsy Vargas). With the upcoming 99 Songs on April 16th, two-time Academy Award-winning music composer A.R. Rahman will be donning on a new hat as writer/producer for a film. However, not many know about the inspiration behind the spark that lit the maestro to transition to filmmaker. A.R. Rahman, Oscar, BAFTA and Grammy-winning composer of “Slumdog Millionaire,” will world premiere “99 Songs,” his debut as screenwriter and producer, at the Busan International Film Festival on Wednesday.
The film, directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy (TV’s “The Dewarists”), will play as part of the festival’s Open Cinema strand. The screening will be preceded by a live piano performance by Rahman where he will bow themes from the film.
“It’s like a fairy tale, where a guy has to write a 100 songs to win the girl, but it’s not that simple,” Rahman told Variety. The peripatetic composer spends a lot of time on planes. That, coupled with his post-Oscars composing phase with Hollywood’s comparatively relaxed schedule, gave him the time to conceive the idea of writing a film about music.
